These fine fruits were found in the city of Seattle.

I got a good pull of azzies. Filled a backpack in less than 3 hours.

You guys are so lucky, yet so unlucky. There's so many cyans, yet so many of you! haha

I found as much as I could want tonight

I do know what you mean, though. I'm new to this and I've discovered that at least one of our larger parks is highly popular with a certain type of person :mushroom2:

It does seem that everyone in Seattle gets plenty of Cyans, just seems like I hear so many stories of raped patches, or people being beat to a patch by minutes... Where I'm located, I see fellow pickers occasionally, though never have I met anyone at the same patch. But then again, I feel I probably have to spend a lot more time looking than those in Seattle.

yeah I have ran into a few others that were pretty obvious but whatev.. I try to avoid looking like a complete stoner while crawling through the bushes..
Kinda weird I had a dream that I found some azzies at this crazy scary beach last night. called in sick to go hunting and found roughly 46 mature cyans.. just barely saw them in some vines at a nearby park i have hunted at several times and found nothing. Was neat.

I feel the same way about PDX vs. Seattle. I saw my first Cyan hunter (other than people i take) a few weeks ago. Seattle seems to have a TON of Cyans but the Pickers per Sq. mile seems a LOT higher than PDX. Seems like up in SEA it doesnt take nearly as long to find them. I guess i put in 40 hours or more of hunting to find the first patch this year. and then another 15 to find the other two. But i like the idea of "patch security". less pickers, less competition. all that work makes it feel soooo good when you get em though!

I completely agree. Seattle sounds stressful to me. I have a hard time dealing with the one or two people who pass me by, so I've come up with some good cover-ups. But still, Seattle just seems like you can't pick without being noticed.

Well I thought you guys had it better off than we do..fa real!
PNW vs. GC
lol
Honestly though,I thought that it would be easy as pie picking in the PNW,but I do see what you all are talking about...Its usually populated areas that have these Psilocybin containing mushrooms up in the PNW like parks,schools-business's,and the occasional patch you find mistakenly or one right out in the open...and I assume some of the cops up there in the bigger cities in the PNW have heard about the mushroom picking...etc etc
Down here in the South/Midwest we just have to find a descent horse stable or cow field and everything will be rocking! But there are those times when you get caught and it bites! like fuck
So Im wondering...Is it easier to pick psychedelic mushrooms in the PNW or the Southern states(Gulf Coast)..
Its just a totally different style of hunting that I and we down here arent used to...well I know Im not anyways!lol
Its just awesome how GOD put Psilocybin mushrooms all over...There isnt a state where there arent actives...
There are several different psychedelics spread throughout the World..Its amazing...And you know all the Organic ones or the ones that come from the Earth are all Mind Expanding Substances..
Its just cool because there are and is psychedelic ethneogens all around the world...Its like no matter where you live, there is something native to your land that was put there for you to explore the limits of your mind and sometimes we push limits:lmao:
Sorry for the long post...I just got to thinking about everything and its all soo perfect...The Earth as we know it is our Mother! And we gotta take care of her!!
Peace

Amen brother.

And yes, it seems to me, like the PNW calls for a guerrilla-style hunting. I ALWAYS carry a camera with me, so that if all else fails, I'm just some guy with a camera. Sometimes I bring interesting looking objects with me, like a giant rubber band ball, to place near the bushes I'm looking through. That way if anyone stumbles upon me I can easily act like I'm just taking a pic of this weird object against the brush.

As far as looking for ideal places for actives, anywhere where people walk their dogs... haha. I feel like dogs do a lot of the "natural" spreading, per se.

Last years transplant went better than first expected, this is my buddy's front yard:

Already dumped a gallon of spore slurry on a few key spots in my neighborhood...

Yeah it ain't really a thang to me. I try to be alert, but I feel that Seattle is pretty low-key. I think the local law enforcement has better things to do than bother chill folks who are enjoying the outdoors. I feel we have a fairly soft-drug-tolerant culture around here.

And, another thing about Northwest folks is, we're masters of minding our own business. You want to talk about GC vs PNW, that's one complaint I've universally heard from Southern transplants to the Northwest: us locals are perceived as "cold" or "standoffish" or even "rude" to those who are used to Southern hospitality. However, this is a benefit when you're crawling around under bushes in parks and people jog by without even giving you a second glance.

Just pick casually. Sneaking around and hiding just draws attention to yourself. Especially with all the bullshit that's put the cops on high alert lately.

I'm thinking the winds must blow mostly east from the coast.  I'm sure there's lots of Cyans over here on the penninsula, but they sure aren't jumping out of their way for me to find them.

Lots of Stuntzii's though

I wish I would've had my phone on me when I was finding these cyans today. I had been to this park about 10 days ago and just found mainly half-matures ones. Today I got ~5 that were matured and about 40 more that were almost full grown.

Also, ran into another picker for the first time. Two pickers actually. When I saw them, I knew what they were doing, and they tried to hide it at first. I just told them that the park we were at has been getting raped by officials or just really stupid people.

Damn, another interesting thing, I was weaving through some thorny brush following this path of smashed down plants, and found a small mound of chips with pins that somebody had put there lol. Why guerrilla grow cyans in a very obvious spot, that's also right in the middle of a giant park covered in chips...i didn't understand it. Just laughed and covered it back up with leaves.

On a different note, that was one helluva storm to be picking in!

Nice find.  Despite putting in a good amount of hours, I've only come across a tiny patch of 8.  Found a bunch of undesirables and a baby amanita today.
