    The Divine Soma, Fly agaric (Amanita muscaria)
This specie had experienced the threshold of elements, a clear indication provided by the condition of the present mushrooms and the absent abundance of young healthy individuals.  No collections were taken on this mission.

These specimens were collected in the same location as one specimen was two seasons ago.  Very pleased to be a host of this particular being!



    Flying Saucer Mushroom (Psilocybe azurescens)(454 specimens collected for spore collection, mycelial regeneration, and further study)
The one specimen with the extreme color changing reaction of which is taking place, and another with sleet craters upon its cap are clear signs of a harsh weather experience; the next displaying intense rhizomorphic growth.  The trio of particulars photographed here beside a rule were discovered in close proximity of a post office and fruiting amongst eight inch healthy grass!

Okay, I first will indicate the following is a deadly specie and should also be made fully known.  Many individuals with fungal interest frequently fail to verse themselves in the methods of recognizing the harmful fungal specie of which inhabit the very areas of the particular sought specie of which that individual seeks.  It is extremely beneficial to become familiar with the potentially harmful specie in order to prevent a tragedy.  With an equally important reminder that we should not create a fungal enemy by labeling them as poisonous but simply offer a different wavelength of respect.



    (Pholiotina filaris)

Though death is possible to find in the consumption of a poisonous mushroom, this marine bird actually came to shore two weeks ago along with one other self-noted and found a resting place.  The bird continues its location and became of it by losing the oils from its feathers of which assist in temperature regulation, buoyancy, and hydrodynamics.  This occurred because of a recent algae bloom off the coast and effected many bird specie.

This is completely wrong.
I've been hunting the same spot for Eight years never 'cutting' stems.
The Azure stem base is more like a pseudorhiza, IMO.(opinion*)
This quite small area is well known to me and fruits aggressively every year despite my picking style.
The Azure Mycelial network is extensive, established, and prolific.

In eight years I've seen two cops, BTW.

I'm pretty sure I just spied my first Cyan patch in the history of me looking for Cyan patches.

Place was crowded and I didn't have any way to store or harvest them properly.  So i left um until I can get back out there later today!
