Awesome find!

I suppose I will throw my weirdo pin pics from yesterday as well. These are from last years transplant, found underneath of a potted plant that had cyans growing around it.

click on it to truly appreciate it's oddness.

Unless you're just in it for the thrill of the hunt, Twiz, I'm not so sure they are worth it.  I just used the dosage calculator on the site and it seems these blue ringers are pretty darn weak.

Going by what the calculator says they are compared to cyans, I think I'd have to eat about 20-25 dry grams to have a decent trip.

Just seems sad...  Maybe I'll leave 'em where I found 'em.  Unless one of y'all can attest to them being a decent trip.:mushroom2:

Ya that's pretty much how it is...I know this guy who harvests from (what is apparently) a massive patch of stunziis, he has people paying top dollar for them because they are "the most potent fucking blue ringers I've ever seen" and on top of that he is selling them fresh as if they are dried, wrapped up in seran wrap uurrrggh!!

All I can say is if your gonna trip on blue ringers, I hope your hungry!

I am a hunter.

And a photographer.

Of all mushrooms, active or not.

I don't trip anymore, but probably will again someday. I have learned plenty from myself on many different mind-fucking drugs, and don't need to learn any more, not right now.

Not that I have anything against it, of course. I still pick actives and give them to my friends. I will occasionally sell some to their friends, but all profit must go to my mycological hobbies, whether it is a pound of agar, or a bag of shiitake plug spawn.

I have also traded mushrooms for pot.

Anyway, I wish to add P. stuntzii to my list of discoveries.

Ahhh...  Well...  In that case...  You should try the redmond/bellevue area.  I've run into a bunch pretty easily over here at work.

Good hunting, man.

Yeah look for stuntzii outside of the city. The farming towns are where it's at, in my experience.

I dunno kind of Stuntziis you guys have, but I ate 10 average size mushrooms (not grams) and was beyond the threshold effect.  Considering their size, that was easily accomlished in 1 mouthfull.

According to Stamets, they're approx 1/2 to 1/3 the potency of Cyans.

Hey guys, I've hunted a million spots inland in Oregon and I ain't found jack. So, tomorrow I'm thinking of heading to the coast. Any suggestions on habitats I should look into for both actives and edibles? I'll be driving all over, just a day trip. PM me if you don't want to mention and specific parks or locations. I'll be heading West on 26 from PDX.

Really?  Huh...  Maybe I will pick and eat them then.  Worth a shot I guess.

those stems are so long you should harvest one, and see what the other does.

That's awesome man, every time I talk to someone who says this I always say to myself, I hope I have the wisdom and knowledge someday to be able to say, okay now's not the time but maybe in the future.

But for now I will mix my mind with a wooden spoon like some sort of cheap dollar store jello (you know, the multicolored psychedelic kind.)

Keep it real Twiztid!

Thats pretty damn interesting...  Made some sense of what I just heard about stuntzii.  Thanks, man.

On the flip side, I'm now VERY motivated to make a trip out to the coast and hunt me some azurescens!

i ate some stuntziis last weekend from my horsefield.it all depends on how hard you like to trip i guess. i am like twiz, i stopped tripping for now like 7-8 years . but this year i have been enjoying a mild trip again, 3 times this season so far.i love it, and stuntziis are perfect for that.i am really enjoying gettting high with my girlfriend.i never did that when i was younger.

Twiz one day they may call again.you will know when its time to answer.

i just ate some libs like 5 minutes ago, by myself this time and am looking forward to playing my mandolin in a bit.

I figured all the rain would be beneficial to my tiny patch.  Arriving there in the morning rain, I discovered .  I didn't take any snaps of my spot due to the steady fall of liquid; however, on my way out the park a solitary shape on the edge of the foliage caught my eye.  It was the biggest one of the day.  I checked the immediate area and to my surprise found no evidence of any other cyans growing nearby.

My friend's cig smoke catching the camera's lens.

Biggest single pick I've had in my two years hunting.

Finally found an amanita patch while walking to guitar center.  There were some tiny little guys waiting to mature.

While I still have yet to find a monster patch, it was still a good hunt.  The weather looks good for the time being, so I figure there is still time.  A trip outside Seattle city limits might be needed to find one though.

its hard to say. depends on the weather.i hit a lib field yesterday and the mushrooms looked a little on the rotten side.not sure if it was from the heavy heavy rain or hail. or from it becoming too cold and the season ending.
it will end up here in BC  first i would expect being farther north.

when shit really ends here, you guys in seatle the area will have atleast a few more weeks than me. and i dont know how long those cyans of yours down there keep fruiting for.

Do cyans have multiple flushes? Will a harvested patch give way for new growth within a season?
