So still no word on what they took other than highly classified documents?  Usually things get leaked a lot faster.

I am in a minority on the shroomery, as I frequently defend the opposing side when they have a point about something or when my side make believes something about them.  I also attack my side if I think they're wrong.  People here get very confused by that and think it means I prefer the other side.

Some of the documents are so highly classified they are supposed to only be viewed in a secured safe room. Lock him up

One of the crimes he is being investigated for is the destruction of documents.

Hold on this trump shit is on a whole different level. It’s not even close to being comparable.

It’s the buttery males crowd that needs to explain why Trumps behavior is acceptable, not the other way around. Trump is the one who ran on Hillary’s emails and how bad it was to mishandle classified documents. That’s where the hypocrisy lays

The hypocrisy is with both groups of people, deciding which instance of breaking federal law is egregious depending ENTIRELY on partisanship.

Reality Winner? Ask 1000 people on the street who that is and you might get half a dozen people who know. Not even remotely comparable. We know trump is a hypocrite, we know his base are hypocrites, we know the gop defending him while pretending they’re the party of law and order and family values is hypocritical.  Calling them out is meaningless, they’ll just invent a new reality.

Clinton inadvertently came into possession of classified documents. Trump stole boxes of them. Not the same thing and I’m not being hypocritical. They are not even remotely the same thing.

Doesn’t matter. What happened to Hillary Clinton is completely irrelevant to what happens to Trump. His legal jeopardy is not contingent upon Hillary Clinton.

You would hate Tulsi even without knowing her "dirty little secret", because you are not a progressive. The truth is she is a fantastic candidate, and if I remember correctly, Tucker Carlson was one of the only newspeople who gave Bernie any sort of positive coverage. The only conclusion I can surmise is that Fox News is of the mind that promoting the far left will negatively impact the party. They are likely correct, because the more legitimate progressives seek political power, the more undemocratic the "Democratic" party becomes.

I, for instance, have lost faith in the Democratic party, to the point I didn't even bother to vote in the last primary, or general elections, and probably won't until I see something change. The underhanded, downright dirty tricks the Democratic party has been playing in the past two primaries disenfranchises a very significant portion of their potential base, and is utterly fucking disgusting, and quite unsettling.

I have noticed that in advertising, often a sub-par product will label itself as precisely the thing that it is not, such as "Milwaukee's Best". The "Democratic" party is the least "Democratic" party in American politics.

I too thought of Clinton's server, the moment I caught wind of this story. It seems to me to be a very adequate comparison. I don't like the idea of a multi-tiered judicial system. We have known for quite some time that "justice" in America is not "Blind" as they say, as evidenced by black lives matter, and the way Wall Street executives were treated, in the aftermath of the recession. This is just one more example of a disturbing trend toward an ever more tyranical reality for the American people.

The personal server was not illegal. The irony of this whole situation  is while Clinton was running her server, the state department server was actually hacked by China. They had to shut down the whole system and people ended up having to use fucking yahoo mail. Her server was never hacked.

This is a raid on the former PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES! Of course it is far more likely she would speak on this subject, as opposed to some random and highly specific unrelated topic that you have chosen as a borometer for her leftiness.

Clinton's use of a personal server was not legal. Clinton having sensitive documents on that server were not legal. Hacked or not, she should have been storing her information in the correct, and legal place.

We have laws in this country, and I fucking DETEST many of them. I am still required to follow them, and Clinton should be required to do the same.

Not illegal. Previous secretaries had personal servers as well because the state department email system is fucking awful. My friend is a state department employee and it’s a fucking joke
