I can accept the argument that she's changed on homophobia. But to me she's looking increasingly like just an opportunist, and she never expresses her views on all the issues, so I am now suspicious.

Cleverly worded so as to (optically) associate reasonable doubt as to any less than presidential behavior he may have seemed to have committed with respect to the “work” he took home and thus automatically is declassified by virtue of his position in gov
I also wonder when exactly in his term did that happen - or whenever it happened - and if so…how does that apply now that he’s not president but still top secret documents are in his  now non presidential possession…at one of his homes no less.  Weird.  sortof…

Anyways.  The exact nature of the documents he took/stole should make certain things become clear and into focus.

He's not the president, and "taking work home" is not allowed with certain projects, even in industry. Don't documents have to be formally declassified? I think he's dreaming, if he thinks that's a defense.

IDK. Legal experts are saying his defense wont work, and that the warrant was written in such a way that the "classified" status of the documents isn't at issue. 

Trump always wanted to be a completely different President, and his actions here are not surprising. How this plays out from here is anybody's guess.

Unfortunately I see nothing but endless payback from each party whenever they have the opportunity.

Even if charges are brought,  and they stick....Trump will be pardoned in an effort to "heal the nation".

Just speculating but he likely could have tried to use a nail gun to penetrate bullproof glass thats an old-school and potentially outdated burglary technique. One simply shoots a ramset nail into the glass which creates a penetration into the laminated layers which can then be worked at to create a small hole. This obviously would take some time and is a really shitty way to breach a door like that especially to a facility such as this.

Here's an annoying video about it. Bulletproof vests and glass and shit like that work on the principle of layers of stuff catching the bullets inertia but something like a nail just goes right thru it. :shrug:

From what Ive learned from UFOlogy, you learn about the declassification process. Basically, it goes like this. If theres a file from the Air Force or Army that can be declassified, it goes thru the department/branch of the military first (Pentagon, Air Force, etc) then the President is basically informed that it was declassified and the document goes public such as the CIA Reading Room. A President doesn't have the power to declassify Secret/Top Secret/Specially-Compartmentalized Information (Very Top Secret) info by themself. Those checks-and-balances.

And nuclear info is rarely declassified because of nuclear weapons and the seriousness of them.

Lastly, usually only old documents are declassified because their relevance is no longer as applicable. And Im guessing the documents Trump stole were recently created and therefore unlikely to be declassified by the department that created it.

Thats BS. The FBI left behind the doc they didn't want and requested a lock on the second set of doors. Its also protected by the secret service 24/7.
