With silly nonsense you mean. When you start in on my "republican friends" which you know nothing about, its the same old crap and that is why I rarely reply to you.

I can only assume your friends are Republicans, considering your disdain for 'Libtards'.

See, that's where you always go wrong, making assumptions and then acting on them. Your heroin addict friends give you bad advice. Of course I'm just assuming that.
Libs by and large have so little experience in the real world they actually believe the nonsense they spout, they think big govt is good, is honest and so on. They think the dems are looking out for them and their bad guy pro wrestling opponents are the opposite. Ho hum.

Sounds like a strawman if I ever heard one! lmao!
You claim to be an independent, but you sure hate liberals. While you're holding conservatives on such a high pedestal, I should remind you that conservative economic policy has been far more disastrous than anything Liberals (Not democrats, liberals) have ever done. Reaganomics is not a Liberal philosophy, and neither is free trade. Probably the two most disastrous policies we've ever implemented. These are not Liberal ideas.
I put my faith in a body of publicly elected officials, before I would ever put it in the moral fortitude of big business.

>You claim to be an independent, but you sure hate liberals. While you're holding conservatives on such a high pedestal,
Here is where you go wrong once again. I don't hate liberals but I am opposed to silly socialism and policies that will not work. When have I put a conservative on a pedestal? Name one?
Then a lot of blah blah blah about how liberal policies work, though you can't name one. Then this
>I put my faith in a body of publicly elected officials, before I would ever put it in the moral fortitude of big business.
You mean you put your faith in the big money people who give them orders? Why do you trust rich people so much? I don't trust business but when they are in competition they try to give the lowest price and best quality in order to succeed. Your liberal policies take away competition.

Socialist policies have worked quite well in much of the EU. They have striving economy, and some of the lowest poverty and crime rates in the world.

Don't try to pass the buck on to Liberals for all of this regulation that kills competition. If I remember correctly (And I do) it is conservatives who've been fighting for years to get rid of net neutrality, and destroy internet competition. It is Liberals who want to kill the trade deals that make American labor less competitive for labor jobs.
Tell me a liberal policy that doesn't work, and I'll tell you how it works. I am one of those 'silly socialists', and I assure you, I have more life experience than many people twice my age, and I am happy to back my ideology.
Also, it's Liberal politicians who argue for campaign finance reform.

The game IS rigged.
Just the fact the fucking Donald trump is even running and not getting laughed out of the political arena should speak to the state of this nations political system....
I get physically sick every time I think about politics....
I actually believe in freedom and the American dream, and not the nuclear family 1950s wholesome white-pickett fence American dream, but the true American dream, the dream of all the fantastic ways one can be free in this country, the American dream of keuroac, Ginsberg, Neal cassady, ken kesey, hunter S. Thompson, Nick Sand, and so on the American dream of the freaks who express their freedom to the fullest.....people like Abbie hoffman and the yippies or kesey and the pranksters, or freaks like hunter Thompson who made a bigger political impact than most realize (he spread rumors that muskie was on ibogaine and people believed it! Completley Fucking muskie out of that election) or chemists like bear Stanley and nick sand....thews people understood what freedom and the American dream really meant....I believe in this American dream and true freedom to be an individual...like kesey said "I feel every man should be able to be as big as he feels it in himself to be" These true freaks who thought for themselves and lived free and did it their way....Terence mckenna would say "culture is an intellegence test, and if your buying in your failing the test" and he was right! "It is no sign of good health to be well adjusted to a profoundly sick society" (I cantvremeber the name that goes with that last quote).....I believe in the free-individial, in the freaks, and free thinkers. I see a system bent on destroying this freedom, they are killing the American dream, killing the earth and killing each other, money buys government and greed ensures that "the bad guy wins" the game is rigged....
...I'm reminded of when hunter s. Thompson lost the election for sheriff to whitmire and he said, taking off his wig, still wearing an American flag like a cape "unfortunately I have proven what I had set out to.....that the American dream is FUCKED"

Bernie Sanders was an Independent for years. He is running as a Democrat, because he would not have been able to get in the debates, or on the ballots as an Independent.
Bernie has the cleanest voting record of anyonenin congress. He voted against the war in Iraq and against the free trade agreements.
He's not your typical politician. He isn't backed by big money, and he is doing quite well. You really ought to give his record, and his philosophy a good look

Ha ha ha ! That's a trip, because I saw this quote in a signiture months ago, I'm assuming it was still bigbadwoof's, and have loved it since, I use it fairly frequently since then, then it comes out in one of my posts and I'm not even aware the person is in the same thread with it still there, I wish I would have seen that, I could have correctly put a name to it. Funny stuff...regardless a good quote that makes a valid point.
