Man, I haven't been hunting since 2005. The two places I knew of were down around Seattle. Checked them out a few days ago and found nothing there. It sucks having lived in Snoho county for so long and not knowing any places.

Hopefully I'll be able to stumble across something on one of my days off soon though. I thought I was too early, but looking through all of this, I know I'm not.

Most of my finds so far have been in Snoho county. They're out here

Haha   you could say that.  There not all around the same place though.  Spead out over a couple parks.  lots more mature ones i didn't picture.

Do you guys have luck picking up north from seattle ?  I live in snohomish county between everett and lynwood.  About a 30 minutes drive from where i am to seattle ?  You guys think its worth it to trek down to seattle to pick ?

Or have other pickers been known to find heaps of cyans up here ?

Anyone having any luck south of Seattle? I went out 2 hours yesterday and 3 today. Hit every park, school, and apartment complex around. Lots of other species but no cyanes to speak of. All the apartments are using that dark beauty bark:shrug:

So this is probably mildly off topic but i figure this is the best place to ask this question with all the hunters around: It seems like the Cyanescen hunting is generally a significantly "bigger thing" in the Puget Sound than Portland.

I've been trying the whole time to cultivate new patches in locations where I could pick in peace, but no luck so far.

Im doing the same at the moment. I have a  Cardboard tek with stem butts going, that im gonna do a Mycelium Syringe with to start a jar of Grain Spawn. does anyone know if grain spawn could be thrown directly into suitable outdoor habitat anywhere without steralized woodships first?
