No God ? I don't think so.

Religion, mysticism, and spirituality offer so many ways for God to exist, but science only gives one, why God doesn't. Alot of you on here may not think there is a God, nor an existence after death, and I've learned alot in the last two months since I started posting on here, but my firm belief that there is a force, which is both creative and destructive, chaotic and ordered, has not been dented. I may be ignorant and / or deluded, maybe even unable to face the 'truth', but I don't think so. I have a mind for a reason, nature doesn't do excess, and that's what the human mind is, excessive.

OP you should accept that there are things out of human comprehension. Yes you have a mind but your mind is not almighty. Your mind evolved on earth, not in the "afterlife" nor is there any signature on your mind indicating it was made by god.

Clear definition ? A force which is creative (order out of chaos) and destructive (chaotic breakdown of order). I would of thought we could dispense with the bearded patriarch by now.

I like how he thinks that religions allow God to exist. This is declaration of imagination.

A 'real' God would not exist because a religion gave him permission to exist.

Although it is often misinterpreted that way, science neither supports nor opposes the idea that there is a God. In fact, according to my idea of God, this universe IS God, and science is therefor a study of the nature of God. That's just me though.

From an objective view point creation and destruction are the same. When omething is destroyed something else is created. When something is created something else is destroyed. Its just change, things are always changing.

Why do you call this change 'god'?

I'm not saying it's necessarily a bad thing, but it can often be the case that we gravitate towards certain ways of expression as a means of expressing a feeling, and since you don't really seem to have a conceptual understanding as to why you make the association between these two words, it seems plausible. :wink:
If you think it's usage does have a foundation in representing a feeling, what do you think that feeling relates to?

I've mostly given up trying to explain my idea of God, both on these forums and to people in person. Don't mistake a lack of explaining for a lack of understanding.
