so you are actually rolling eyes on me... heh... well... i ask you politely to review my posts again...
i was not saying that you and your point of view are a prejudice... i was saying that the way you think i believe in god is a prejudice... because you think the way i believe in god is no different from the way the church believes in him, and that is not true... i agree with you that the church uses god to scare children and control people... they took maybe the greatest testimony of god and ultimate truth and transformed it into a tool for power... they erased everything jesus said about meditation and reincarnation from the bible... so that people would think there is only one chance, and if they screw up and don't go to church and pay their taxes they go to hell (which by the way i don't believe exists)

I can say to myself there is no god,
God is supposed to be the creater of life,
Then if that is true is a woman a god?
The earth a god?
The body of man a god?
In side us is the potental to be gods, we are the center of our own universes, we have the power to take life, to give life. To in all creat life.

God is not fear as most christans would think you to believe, It "GOD" has only been in our history for a very short time, used and created by the church to join city and state to the kings that had controll over the land that the people worked.
To controll the people and it really got out of controll. You can see the impact today on the cash that we print and use, Because we are supposed to think
IN GOD WE TRUST> never once in the histroy before was this used to controll so meny.
I am lucky to be born in a time when this seal will be brocken, the trust in humanity dose after years of being controlled by a god of pain a church of profit, and a gosple that is out dated.
I am happy in the the thought that people question what is real, and what was used for controll, and put fear into countless children as they grew into the slavery of the church.
I myself believe that we are gods, we have the power to creat to think and be...
But I also belive that there is alot that I have yet to understand, and those are the questions I search for, we all search for...
If we do open our hearts and listen I believe that we all in time will get the anwswers that we need,

God is many things for different people, the god you are describing is the Judeo-Christian version, which I also find infantile, and there is a possibility that you are right that there is no god.
But you as any human in this world are a speck of dust compared to the universe, meaning you no shit about anything.
But we monkeys have a lot of arrogance and pretend to know the facts of every thing.
In my case I believe that there is a God a Creator, you may ask why do I believe in one?
Well I just look at the world, and I am at owe at his design, from the tiniest flower, to giant nebulas.
For some the theory of the big bang contradicts a god, for me it confirms it.
Is God concern about humans affairs, chances are he/she/it is not, but in the other hand I don't pretend to know his/she/it's agenda, that?s the path for taken only by fools.
I am just content to witness hes/shes/it's work.

True energ cannot be destroyed or created as there is an equal amount of energy to matter. So it can only be changed. So that must mean we have always exsisted going back billions of years back to the creation of the univers. The only possible source of this energy could be the mind, we created it our selvs at the moment of the big bang with concious thourght. Now we just jump from life to life waiting to return to a bliss full existence. Here is three points of possible proof :

When we die there is still a small electricle charge left in the brain for a very long time. Not sure for how long but it would be intresting to find out.

Iin a pregnant woman it takes 49 days for the third eye to developed on a baby. (This is the part of the brain responsable for concious thourght)

Now it is beleived that after we die we are in a psychedelics state for 49 days before we are reborn and depening what happens in this state depends on what happens to us next or where we are reborn.

So its just a matter of linking these up to come up with a conclusion.

Death - Psychedelic state(ego loss) - Rebirth

I hate to say it, but, If you wont believe there is no devine being (aka: god) then you'll never find it. If you search your mind and spirit, you will find it. You are a part of the "whole" energy, which makes "god" a part of you.

i read it... and i understand your point of view... but basically the references in that book are limited to the christian god...

maybe if you read "conversations with god" you would understand my point of view... and you will be amazed by how many paralels can be drawn between the knowledge those 2 books...

well... i could continue arguing(sp?) with you, but i have to say i am kinda lazy right now :grin:

i know there are a lot of people here that can explain to you why a supreme something would create all this...
one last thing to jezu... the energy we are talking about was always there and will always be there and everywhere... and yes, it was thought that made it burst creating the universe... the divine thought of that energy beeing able to experience itself by creating space between its particles, and therefore time... creating relativity... creating physical matter (planets, suns, everything) and separating itself into zillions of small little parts that would inhabit physical bodies and forget the real source (creation of the ego... creation of the illusion of beeing separate from god and each other) in order to experience themselves...
