Anthropomorphism of an intangible is a funny thing,We create in our own image and expect this creation to serve us.Why are folks trying so hard to ascribe human emotion and sensation to an intangible intelligence.Created in His own image....anyone ever consider that may mean spiritual image?.If ya'll would just get over religion and get to spirituality it would make sooo much more sense.Instead of "creating " a stern old man who hates us why not accept a creation in which we were made to serve a function in?In which we are all valued in coins we cannot fathom and our perspective of ego is what is between us and the oneness of all there is.IMHO the statement "God hates us" is like saying an ant hill is jealous of your sugar.I believe that the intelligenge which organized and set into motion creation does love what it has built(including us)It is our creaton of it which has become corrupt.WR :blush:

Very well put.

At some time I intend to post a few of the various views of God. Many times those views are an insight into us more than they are revealing about God.

I too share this opinion.But as God is within each of us as we look in to see, we look through the filter of our own existance hence the anthropomorphic God.PEACE :wink: WR

I don't believe in a hateful God.
(If "christian" god) However, if I'm going to be damned... he can fuck off.

(If "buddhist" God) Doesn't matter what I believe in or not...
