Speaking of big ass mushrooms... check out these giant Cyans I found on my walk this afternoon. I didn't get habitat shots of these but they're still impressive!!  :eek:

Nope I'm from Olympia... MMmmm, spore slurry spritzer solution?  I dumped the water used to wash these on my myc. transplant.  That's not what you meant is it?

One of the things people can do to easily and swiftly "spread the spores" is to take either bulk spore prints OR left over caps themselves and add them to a water spritzer like the ones used to mist plants. Then you just find an ideal place for a new patch and mist the heck out of it. Obviously, there's no guarantees but Stamets recommends the process.

Btw - I'm so jealous. I still haven't found anything except Panaeolus cinctulus and an Inocybe that bruises blue but is apparently toxic. Congratulations on your finds, man!

Oh I see..  I haven't been doing it exactly that way.  After I wash my mushrooms I'm left with a dark purple concoction full of spores and shroom chunks which I have been generously pouring over our woodchip beds.

I've also been watering our mycelium transplant with the shroom water. The mycelium is growing and beginning to spread into the cardboard I laid over and under it. I'll take pics of this soon.

Yup, Olympia is where is at for sure :super:

went to one of my spots a few hours ago and picked the biggest cyans in my life.

The habitat shots arn't good because i took the pics with a broken camera

I think im going to hit up Dupont on wed with all those new complexes theyve built. If i come up empty ill be heading to olympia..
