These were once thought to be Ps. cyanofibrillosa but they are not. Once you see real cyanofibs, its easy to tell them apart. Ps. cyanofibrillosa looks more like a meatier version of pelliculosa, IMO.

The specimens I found seem to be a variant of cyanofriscana, which is usually a darker orange color. These start out as yellow-brown pins that lighten out to yellow, sometimes almost white.

I think its the same species as this; Washington Psilocybe.

Weird. I will have to look for the data I found saying that you can pick up to 5 gallons of legal mushrooms per day in King County Parks.

I don't remember where I read it, but I looked it up last year to see if I could pick at the Arboretum. I found out I couldn't, but only because it is a reserve. Whatever I read said I could pick mushrooms in King County parks.

I am pretty sure it isn't illegal to pick berries from parks, so why mushrooms, as long as they are legal ones....

I will hunt for the text.

I am not sure if this data is up to date, but here is a little info on Washington Mushroom Picking Rules..

Those are some nice finds. You guys are lucky. The spot I have been going to recently just got raked and messed up. I don't know if that spot is even going to produce any more, it sucks now I gotta find another new spot. I will post my finds from last weekend tomorrow. Have a good weekend, I know I will.

Once the mushrooms are properly dried it's definitely a solid idea to store them in a sealed glass mason jar. You should have months of storage (they'll be good for a couple or a few months before potency significantly declines).
