My own subjective experience:shrug:  I think a god is naturally write into the experience of the universe, as we are.  I'm not trying to prove anything, simply sharing my idea of a "god."

One of the biggest travesties in the field.  They are often mocked and not taken seriously within the community though.  Still, their 'theories' could possibly be observed someday.

Do you think its possible that the unobservable reality you believe in will one day be observable (through technology or evolution)?  I dont discount the possibility there is an unobservable reality, in fact relativity necessitates an unobservable reality, but one within our universe.  Outside the universe though, who fucking knows.

What good is a method of problem solving with no answers?  I see philosophy as the rational discussion of the unknown.

Well, logic basically (where mathematics is a subset of that).  Thats the only philosophy class I ever took and studied formally.

Mathematical proofs seem to be a field of mathematics, but i see where it would be used in philosophy.

Here's a sincere question, no offense or sarcasm intended:

If it's your personal life experience which leads you to believe in God, then why don't others draw the same conclusion? I'm sure you have at some point known an atheist ... what differs between your experience and theirs, that you've found justification for belief in God and they haven't?

I have been an atheist all my life.  I grew up with no religious backgrounds.  I have just had some experiences that have led me to believe in a higher level order or consciousness. 

Why don't atheist believe in god?  Because their experiences led them to not believe in god.  I don't belong to any religion, i just have my own ideas about how reality is put together.  Other people do too.

Human experiences are quite unique, however culture often marginalizes our uniqueness.
