time means moments passing by.
so if something is timeless it wouldn't be moving.

Sure, Im with you there.  That only shows that if there is a god he is uncaring or unknowing of our existence.  (or even more specifically he is unknowing/uncaring about cancer patients).

But you cant just take that example with cancer and extrapolate it to the big bang.

But really one must be careful when discussing time and have a clear definition in mind.  I dont think 'moments passing by' suffices.

It isn't really finite because it isn't really made "out" of anything.  Its not measurable, it has no limits, so therefor it cannot be finite. 

When you were saying "eternal" i interpreted that word as lasting forever or always existing.  However there is no lasting or existing (our physical dimensional sense) at all.  Therefor it cannot be eternal.

what's you're definition of time?
i think time could maybe mean "change".
because as time goes by there is always change.

I like the thermodynamic definition of time.  Time is the progression from order to disorder (or from unlikely states to likely states).  There is the relativistic definition of time too, where it is a dimension similar to a spatial dimension - but I think that the thermodynamic definition is more intuitively satisfactory when discussing things like this.

As you can see, Im physics-centric. :tongue2:

What i am saying is that i believe there are some parts of reality that are beyond our ability to conceive or imagine.  Let alone measure.  It doesn't make those parts of reality any less real.

I guess you could say the same thing about modern physics, as many of its theories are unmeasurable or testable.  Doesn't mean their wrong, and i'm not saying "this is the way god works and is"  Its only my little theory based off my own subjective experience being alive.:shrug:
