I only have one area producing. It's bonkers with wine caps and agrocybes too. Not a single mushroom other places.

Any thoughts on why this one spot? Anything specific about it that sets it apart from the other areas??

All my other regular spots are still not producing at all. I've only found ovoids this year in new spots.

Slowly but surely coming along.  Veg is outrunning the fruits here.  Seems like here its nothing, more nothing and then BAM!  Fruits everywhere.  But a shroom is a shroom right? lol.  One day after my first finds from last year.  Found 3 smalls left 1.

Hello all
Plants are just starting to come to life here in the Hudson Valley NY, but when I was at the vet with my dog I was told that the ticks have been bad all winter! Even though we had a cold and snowy winter
My point is keep a vigilant watch for those little fuckers, Lyme disease is no joke

How long along did it rain there prior to this hunt? Its been dry for a week now in central VA. Will they gradually be coming up or only in very specific areas that stay wet?

Last year in May we had tons of huge rain storms and they were literally everywhere along this river trail. I've checked the old spots a couple times now and seen nothing yet. Maybe my mulchy sweet spots were towards the end of their life cycle and rapidly decomposed through the year. Now they're not so ideal?
