That study was done in vitro, you know, in a test tube.  Bleach will also kill lymes disease in a tube.

I've yet to be let down by these stream restoration projects. Every single one has produced and I got a new one spied out waiting for something to happen.

Sometimes you can see it on google maps, but mainly I just see them from the road. It's fairly easy to spot them because they build them out from a paved road for access.

I've been out of town for a few days so I haven't had a chance to check my mulch bed out front, but my roommate returned today and sent me his picture. He said he spent several hours pulling and cleaning them. Guess I picked the right weekend to visit family,  :hehehe:  :hehehe:  :hehehe: :rofl:  :rofl:

The stuff that the state uses with the trash ground up In it for all the restoration projects were i am from. Wood lovers love it.

I use the bags of hardwood mulch from lowes. I believe they are just labeled "Black Mulch".

I always carry my .45 when in the woods, we have some big pigs, black bears and coyotes. After being treed by a coyote, I will never be unarmed in the woods again.


hogs would worry me more than the bears and coyotes around here.  i've chased both of those species off before but pigs tend to just charge.

fortunately wild hogs are just starting to invade this far north. won't be too long before they're tearing up crops and whatnot in an obvious fashion.


I'd carry a real tempered Katana family type blade.
More fun, less guns and mushrooms.

If you encounter a pack of coyotes just gut one or two with your knife.  They won't mess with ya after that.  Bears?  Stay away from cubs and you should be good.  Mountain lions?  Better hope he's not too hungry.

don't bend over.  Game warden killed a big ass cat around here couple years back.
