Sure, this is nothing new. The Dems say they’re really actually gonna finally do something this time, and then don’t.

But why does this bait and switch work? Because the voter base is full of people like Genesis Corrupted who believe the main issue with Trump is that he doesn’t do the performative politician routine the correct way. Politics is a movie for them. The Big Bad telegraphs how evil he is by mocking reporters and displaying his insecurities, and then he’s defeated when Good Guy lays out the hypocrisy in a scathing speech.

I’m not going to waste my time deconstructing the banal evils of Trump’s political appointees because it isn’t going to change your mind either way.

Suffice to say that, yes, if Booker and the Dems want to derail the fascism train they can stop laying the tracks and shoveling coal into the furnace. But the obvious conclusion here is that they don’t really give a shit, Booker did a media op because 1) their constituents are pissed about Schumer’s apathy and they aren’t going to completely cede the moment to Bernie, and 2) it’s a convenient launch point for his inevitable 2028 presidential campaign.

No he doesn't care Ecstatic because he is insider trading. He calls the shots so he knows which way the markets are gonna go, he can always get in the perfect positions. He will always come out ahead no matter what, and the direction of the markets does not matter as much as volume + volatility, because that's how you make money on the markets.
