some of them aren't, the ones in the 5th pic

I still can't tell if they are ovoids but they look like it. Let them dry out.

Today was a better day and was able to hang out with a couple of chill people.  Wished that everyone was able to make it, but at least met up with TempestDnB and took him and his gf to one of the spots we go to in PA.  Helped show him how to look for and ID ovoids.  It was a lil chilly and even rainy for part of the day, but totally worth it.  There wasn't much really going on yet though.  Most of the finds were just groupings of 2-5, no big clusters.  The second flush is just around the corner and I saw many signs of branches and logs getting ready for round 2.  Here's a couple of the mushrooms we were able to find.  Most were really fresh/wet. 





And when it comes to that other thing ... Except for the couple of humans that disrespect the land.  I'm not that worried about other pickers, I'm worried for other pickers.  Why give leo a heads up on these things.  I'm just gonna leave it at that.

So the obviously lighter ones ? I'm pretty sure they are bruising the same but either way I'm like 90 percent sure I found the real thing I'm printing them all so that should help now can I just dry these out and consume or are there any precautions I need to take

That one is an ovoid. Don't cut the stem off next to the cap. Cut the dirt off and use stem butts to seed other areas. Show us the bluing. One of your pics shows a profile view of a cut stem and we can't tell if it's bruising or shadowing. Show us the lighter colored suspect ones. Especially their gills.

Yes that's an ovoid. I think the main problem is that your camera or your lighting sucks. (Sorry to be harsh but this is like four or five tries with these pics - the shadow on your hand shouldn't be pink lol)

If your light source is lacking light at the blue end of the spectrum as some artificial sources may, we aren't Gonna see blue bruising no matter how blue it looks

They all seem to have the same gills they look to be blueing as well the last pic is the one I previously posted it's lightened up and it's definitely blue as well

He's anyone ever experienced food poisoning like symptoms after consuming ovoids? I dried and powedered the ones that I found below and last night my girlfriend and i took about 4 grains of rice worth of the powder and about 4 hours later she was up puking. It very well could have been other factors as her stomach was bugging her throughout the day but i just wanted to allay any fears she may have so she isn't worrying all day.

Hey guys just stopping in to let you all know that the ticks are horrible this year. I know how Koods felt when he posted a pic of a tick on the head of his dick. Same thing happen to me! A fucking stick stabbed threw my pants and later ripped a hole in them that I sew shut with some hemp twine from my walking stick. Hahaha I had also eaten a couple gorgeous baby caps while I was hunting.

Whata great experience. . . Minus the tick on my dick.

It's not really a phenotype so much as a reaction to cold and dry weather then being rehydrated, it is extreme bluing and means pretty much all the active ingredients have oxidized. Cyans and alleni will do that metallic finish thing too if subjected to the right conditions.



Nah. There really are black pin ovoids. It has nothing to do with weather conditions.
