Evolution to a certain degree is plausible, but within a species. Not fish growing legs, becoming land creatures, becoming lizards, then chickens lol

And if a species was to evolve in a freezing frigid environment the last thing it would do is decide it didn't need nice thick hair covering it's entire body, unless GQ magazine was a thing back then

I understand that pf im just saying everyone is trying to act like we should all know all the updates with what comes out ... shit i dont even knkw what movies are in theatres i got more important things to worry about than shit im nor really interested in its fascinating but not at all importnt .

And what it comes down to really is once we die we might find out how and when we were made .... or we dont i know science has made some factual findings but no one has once proved where humans came from ...

That doesnt mean i think god created us like in the bible or we didnt evolve from animals or from bacteria but no one has proved anything ....

If i would have to choose id say we did evolve from some type of bacteria or microorganism and thats why people have birth defects mutations whatever just how under a microscope some will be normal and others weird looking

Ya thays more adaptation then evolution in my eyes just how in the winter my hair is darker brown amd the summer its reddish and blonde my suns hair turns straight orange in the aummer but winter its strawberry blonde ...

Evolution is a fact, this is not arguable.

If you have ever gotten a flu shot, ask yourself why.

There are plenty of examples of evolution.

I am sure I am going to butcher this example, but here we go.

A certain species of birds were brought to an island, but only one part of it.

By the time the birds had inhabited the entire island, the birds from one side of the island could not successfully mate with the ones on the opposite end.

Meaning they had evolved into 2 different species.

This happened in such a short timeframe that we had the ability to record it. I am sure a short google search will clear up the gaps in the story, but this happened.

There are also countless fruit fly experiments, and bacterial experiments, and so on. The info is out there, just a few clicks away. Peer reviewed and everything, from credible sources.

Right, the answer is we don't know, and that's ok. Some people just cannot accept that and feel they need to make up things to fill the gap like stories of creation that are totally unreasonable and illogical.

Well science sure has done a better job of trying to figure it out than religions.

For the record I don't believe in religion,  and I don't believe in God as it is portrayed in religion. When I said higher power I meant we all came from somewhere else meaning we came from somewhere that has had life long before us

But how would that be possible? They are still birds i mean people breed horses and donkies i mean the outcome id a non breedable mule but i dont get it..

True and like i said its more possible that we came from microorganisms then animals or placed here by a god what i honestly think is there were other planeta with different signs of life that may have expolded and the meteors did strike our planets starting our existence just like if our world exploded ....

It would probably start life on another planet that is similiar to ours

this thread might as well be about the danger of immunization for the level of critical thinking.
alternate facts are not real.

Not once did anyone mention dangers of immunization, except for you.

I was talking about how the influenza virus has evolved, which is not an alternative fact.

That's The problem, there is no critical thinking. The masses either believe one thing or another but don't seek true answers. Just believe something to be true because that's what they were taught. Lack of common sense runs rampid

This doesn't show speciation, just a possible route for speciation, it's a pretty lame link for Berkeley to publish, given that they titled it, "Specation in real time". If they had title it "An example of a possible route to speciation" it would not have been lame.

Darwin himself said that he was wrong about evolution before he died look thar shit up so is he now antiscience??

Are you fucking kidding me?! Maybe YOU should look that up... The only places that make such bullshit claims are creationist websites. There is absolutely ZERO evidence to prove this claim to be true. It is a bullshit claim made by an evangelical christian whos account was denied by Charles Darwins daughter herself who was a devout christian and was with her father for his final moments. What the fuck man?! This is the problem with these debates on the side opposing evolution. People repeat straight up lies they have been told as if they were truths and they have no idea they are wrong. Even telling people to look shit up as if they are right when they themselves have not done the research!! :haha:

You know that humans and mushrooms share a common ancestor and that we are more closely related to mushrooms than plants?
