Museums have a lot of fossils, thousands and thousands of fossils...
There are also a lot of places that fossils can still be found.

Some 250,000 valid fossil species have been described, but this is believed to be a small proportion of all species that have ever lived.

The answer to this is simple, we didnt come from apes, us and apes share a common ancestor. I love telling people that lol.

So now "god" makes sense to me, not as in a 1 man god created life but we did come from somehwere else, a higher power if you will.

I'm not sure where you get the idea that there is some "higher power" from the idea that life started here by bacteria or some shit landing on the sterile and cooled earth, most likely ejected into space and hurled towards earth from some kind of distant collision where these things possibly originated and life could be now. Space dust is not a higher power. There are many different microscopic life forms that could survive trips through space. They are not higher powers, even if it is possible for different forms of life to evolve from them over billions of years.

How come humans havent evolved ?? I mean there are plenty of "super humans" perse as like really intelligent or athletic... how come there hasnt been another chsnge in evolution for thousands of years not one simgle creature??

Dude, come on... Evolution is an extremely slow process that doesn't just happen in 100 or 1000 years. You and I will most likely never witness a physical evolutionary trait in another human being in our lifetime. Perhaps it's even possible that some birth defects that cause people to abort their pregnancies are evolutionary. But they are aborted so they never get a chance to continue the process. Who knows, Down Syndrome could be evolution trying to keep humans in check from getting too full of themselves with our evolved brains and destroying ourselves and the world. But we have evolved our technology to the point where we can identify Downs Syndrome and other defects early and those babies are getting aborted left and right now. So if that is one route evolution was going we are actually manipulating our own evolution somewhat. Kinda like how in nature defective creatures are often shunned by their normally born siblings and the parents(they get neglected and die early as a result), sometimes even just killed by them or the parents for being born unlike the rest.

PinPornProducer said:
And also if evolution were true, why did it stop? Why are there not anymore fish growing legs to walk on land?

Holy fuck!! Educate yourself, please!! Evolution continues to this day and will long after we are gone.

I respect getting stoned and having an epiphany but this one is wrong.
sure, the petrie dish was sterilized when the planet formed but there was no agar for foreign material to consume.

It took millions of years for organic molecules to randomly get complex enough to form working strands and membranes etc. Prior to that there was just inorganic crystals, fluids and gas with organic precursors embedded.

so still no need for god or religion unless you like getting religious on shrooms or some other sacred brain food.

True, just because there are several dog breeds and thier ancestors sold out to humans dosen't mean the wolf still dosen't have a niche in the environment.

Certain environmental influences can cause a mutation that arises to be beneficial, mutations are natures experiments. If it benefits the animal aiding in survival as an advantage this animal passes it on. In the case of dogs certain mutations were considered useful or cute to man, they ensured it was passed on by breeding.

In the case of homosapien sapiens our mutations mostly noted a more advanced brain allowed us to leave the environments of our ancestors and flourish in others, dosen't mean that the forest isn't still perfectly suited to monkeys.

survivable mutations that do not prevent breeding
not just mutations, many of which are deadly or not able to extend into progeny.

Yep, some probably if not most of natures "experiments" fail, but eventually one happens that really gives the individual an advantage over their peers. One that comes to mind is the aye aye, a type of lemur that evolved a longer middle finger for pulling out grubs, that mutation allowed the aye aye's ancestor to get food others couldn't making it more likely to survive and stronger winning fights for females ect.

Another example is the ancestors of all bears was a brown bear, in frozen climates the lighter colored bear would blend in better with the ice and snow, so comes the polar bear. It's white coat is camouflage helping it hunt seals, there are still brown bears in other climates even though the polar bear evolved from a brown bear, you could go on and on.

One will say this the other that then 20 years both are wrong and the cycle continues i love how you guys thing you are extremly smart and try to prove other people wrong with no proof of nothing ....

I never said we didnt evolve from fish or animals only its highly doubtful .... and i dont watch any anti science nothin watching science itself will give you all kinds of misleading information...

So you're saying you believe that basically a molten ball of lava (sterilized) then cooled, molecules then just started becoming more and more complex then ultimately sprouting into every living thing on this planet without any outside influence? :ohyou:

Maybe you need to seek answers to the truth rather than just believing something just because someone else does

No, but facts are facts....

Destroy all the religious books and all the science books.....all of them, then fast forward 1000 years.

The science books will all have been rewritten, exactly as they were written before.

The religious books on the other hand will all be different. Facts are facts.

Evolution is a fact, things change over time. Stories of creation and religion are hypothesizes at best.

Thats because scientists keep getting new information.

We used to think pluto was a planet, based on what we considered a planet, because we could only see so far.

Technology got better and we realized that it in fact did not qualify to be a planet by our definition of  aplanet, so it was reclassified.

As new information arises, we change our outlook.

As the information changes, it gets more and more precise.
