so you believe homosexuality is a trait passed down through our genetic codes?

Well, it sounds paradoxical, but that's nearly right. I think that there is a gene which, when passed down, gives people a higher propensity to be gay. I don't think that everyone who has a certain gene is gay, and I don't think that everyone who is gay has a certain gene.

it makes sense logically, id have to think about genetic code now then

genetic code's purpose is to ensure survival of life, to be adaptive, so that the best codes will continue living and procreating, survival of the fittest if you will

the genetic code had to start off as something basic.. a sexual gender distinction may not have been so clear, maybe it was a fuck anything and see if something happens philosophy, and the ones that fucked the right gender the most passed thier code on, and so on, giving us what we have today.

our code is alot more advanced now that so many sperm found thier eggs and created new genetic codes. the genetic predisposition to someone being gay is clear to me now though. they havent been encoded to seek out the other sex to the same degree as the rest of us may be.

And what's logical about having sex with contraception?
If you are not using sex for reproduction, you might be
having sex with animals, it doesn't make any difference,
it's recreation.

I find it funny how many say things like: "bit it aint natural..."
But human race uses sex for reproduction only once or twice in their whole life, and thousand times for pleasure or as a sing of intimacy

I think stupid people are the downfall of society.

All persons with an IQ under 125 should be liquidated

skysstone, i agree with you, you have to ask yourself for how long in history have we had the luxury of choosing when we want to give birth and has this played a part in our evolution of genetic coding?

What's the logic of being straight? If your answer is reproduction, then what's so logical about reproducing? Why do you care about the survival of the species after you're gone? You're not going to be around for it. Humanity is going to die out someday anyway, regardless of whether people are gay or straight, so what's the point? Existence ultimately has no meaning except the one we assign to it. So there is no reason for being gay, nor is there a reason for being straight, nor is there a reason for being. It all just is.

It seems a logical assumption that Homosexuality is natures way of cutting popluation growth. Of course their can be many arguments against this view.

But i challenge anyone to come up with a more logical explanation!

Man, there is nothing less detrimental to society than being gay. Not only do they do no harm, but they can't reproduce and create MORE people. If they want a child they can only adopt, and that helps the child. Their sexual activities are done indoors just like everybody else's so that shouldn't, and doesn't, affect you in any way whatsoever.

And for it being logical? Are you kidding? Mankind is the most illogical thing in existence. Nothing we do makes sense at all, nothing. We kill each other, we have rediculous differences in wealth, we invest unTOLD amounts of money in technology to kill each other, we BUILD diseases, we build cars that get 8 MPG, etc etc etc. Being gay is like #999999999 on the list of things wrong with society. People like you who believe other people's lifestyles (that don't interfere with yours in any way) are the problem are much higher up on that list.

i thihnk the "gay gene" you described deafpanda is easily passed down...by gay people in denial of their gayness.

I have 3 male friends who have fathers who came out of the closet in their 40's. each gay dad had at least 4 kids (one dad had 9!)

these gay dads have produced a couple gay boys and a lesbians, prolly by passing that gay gene on.

It's not about having a specific "gay gene", all people are bisexual in nature, it's just where you put your balance.

My remarks were in no way intended to be seen as offensive or homophobic. It was merely an open observation that natrually homosexuals cannot reproduce.

Therefore it is a logical opinion that homosexuality is mother natures way of cutting down on population growth?

I agree with this, to some extent.... I think there are people who are completely straight, though, and people who are completely gay. Most of my friends who are girls have admitted that they're bi, but I think it's a lot harder for a guy to say this becuase it's less acceptable. I'm sure people here have seen "straight" guys on E kissing.

It always cracks me up when I hear the ole "being gay is wrong because biologicaly-speaking man's purpose is to reproduce" trotted out for the trillionth time.

Six billion humans and counting. Umm..I don't think we're in any danger of dying off from lack of reproduction any time soon, folks!

Instead we should be far more concerned about the risks of overpopulation. Seen this way, being gay is actually a good thing.

So order your pink spandex and Birkenstock sandals while you still can, folks!

Yeah, being gay is cool. There's no better feeling than having your prostate probed while ejaculating. It's like this incredible new way to get off. (just make sure to clean your poop chute before hand)

well, gays are not the end of mankind. lol

no more than condoms and birth control pills are.

personnely, to me gay marriage is as bad getting remarried after a divorce (to a deffrent women of course.).

I don't think it's right, but I really dont give a fuck, it's a free society.

lets look at bush's reason for outlawing same-sex mariiages, and than look how he could care less about the over whelming divorce rate and remarriages, and lets not forget those cheap drunken las vegas weddings by guys dressed as elvis...bush is a homophobe, he's not doing it for the sanctity of marriage but simply because he's afraid gays are a danger to society, he's retarded.

on another note, how do you guys feel about beastiality and incest?
