Here is a clone run of F2 of my Haole x Rusty Whyte cross I have been working on. I think I’ll run a clone of the fat one and try and run from spores off that run.

Nice plate, I have run Fahts Yeti clone and another one originally from CC USA a sponsor, both gifts (different phenos, but similar) and they yielded unbelievably. Very easy to get 2 - 2.5 per quart in a 6 or 12qt tub.  They do well in bags as well, but I run tubs or trays mainly.

This is a clone from Faht's clone, it had this really thin stipe at the substrate making it really easy to harvest without demolishing the substrate :strokebeard:

Kloakk It’s the light and some bruising. I need to swab and see if that’s bruising or spores. It looks albino but maybe it’s leucistic

It's currently sterilizing 6 glass petris. Kinda works out, now I can sterilize all the petris I have available and 2 bottles of agar.

I did some cult work today... A very rare thing these days.

Starting my prep for next year outdoor grows. Some of these might be so lucky enough to be ran indoors as well, depending on how I'm feeling when the time comes.

Cultures sent to LC:
P. yungensis, Ecuador
P. sp. PNW02
P. neoxalapensis, Acajate
P. caerulipes, Yooper (I better find this damn species wild this year in Wisconsin. I swear to God if I don't I will force it to be here! 🤬)
P. aztecorum, Oregon
P. semilanceata, Stone Lagoon
P. pelliculosa, Washington
P. baeocystis, Oregon
P. baeocystis, Nova Scotia
P. hispanica, Spain (Would be really nice to be able to grow this out and get a full genome done.)

I have only three things I'm working on indoors at the moment. This zapotecorum is producing a very nice pin set at the moment.

Earlier, this spring, I received some cultures from a friend. This is his hybrid of tampanensis x gallaeciae.

As far as I'm aware, ITS showed 100% match between the two species, meaning they're the same species. However, ITS only gets so much of the whole picture. There's still environmental conditions and geographical location that differ. You can't claim a species synonymous without doing full genome if you ask me.

I was very lazy with this grow. Isolated culture to uncle bens. I threw it in a shoebox and mixed in some manure and coir and placed it outside immediately. Came back days later to see that shoebox overflowing with water 😂 I dumped it out on the ground and forgot about it.

At some point in history (especially in recent modern day history) us humans realzied we had the potential to take a huge majestic Wolf-life creatures from the forest and eventually turn them into pocket sized furry little demons with crooked eyes. And then we put them in a cute sweater that we made for them and suddenly it all makes sense again and we sorta "get it" cause they still our besties :yesnod:

Today no living creature is safe, mammal, plant, fungi, if we like you and we become best friends chances are we'll at some point perform the "procedure" on them as well, just to see how it turns out, out of pure love of course :mushroom2::heart::bongload:

TWAPE BRF cake was made way too dry but slowly colonized.

Figured f it and shredded it to some coir in a shoebox.

Hey Splittinghairs, can I ask what jar size you use for cakes? And what BRF cake to coco coir ratio would you recommend?

The other day I was looking into PF-Tek to Bulk and it seemed like the only accessible option for doing Bulk at the moment. And honestly it really caught my attention.

Actually, yesterday I went to a Chinese shop and grabbed a 2L round tupperware and a microwave lid for it. Together it looks fucking cute.

And tomorrow finally birthing the cakes. :whoo:

I used half pint jars. For that shoebox I shredded it to 2 quarts of coco cause it was the only jar of the 4 that eventually colonized enough (2 months) that I felt taking a crap shot with. And only cause my swabs I took from my TWAPE grow were shit.

I’m very new to BRF itself. Usually do agar and all for bulk. I screwed up with my TWAPE jars as I was checking field capacity without the BRF in the mix cause I didn’t read properly.

My newb log Learning BRF Cake Wars 3

Hopefully Mateja chimes in. He’s a BRF guy so would follow his lead in all honesty.
