It's not toque. Either that or reverted. And I doubt that. Someone just mixed something up

I remembered who I got it from now, everything else seemed to be what it was but it happens sometimes.  I could see them looking like this and that's supposed to be toque as well. Maybe just variation from spore? Idk we'll see I'll do another round soon of it either way because they grew so well

This kinda goes against the grains though ey xd

This blue meanies on straw was definitely fighting a bacterial battle though has reverted the straw to a healthy color and is now fruiting.

Half the jar looked black/dark grayish not healthy  3 weeks ago 🧐

Almost looks like pseudo schlerotia in that pic too so weird 😂 fungi is amazing.

Congratulations! Celebrate your first successful cake with pride!

And those mushrooms look great. 90g fresh is a really nice flush for a little BRF cake. Enjoy them!

Hugs

Very early pins but the first in a new wave so it's all I have.

Purple Mystics in a shoebox

Charlie Brown, I had some leftover grains in a g2g jar, so I put it in a 350ml pp5 container with hydrated coir. It colonized well, and I put it in a ziploc bag to fruit

and was thinking of this guy earlier. You can see the initial rhizo fingers that I transferred, but it was a different agar mix (MEA vs Gnocchi homemade). It first started doing the same sort of rhizo fingers, and then it was like it went, oh, there is abundance here.

Previous plate

This guy went to a jar, colonized well and is now taking over a coir/straw shoebox.

Nice! I have swabs of these but my interests have been focused on ochra and subtropicalis. Taking a break from the cube effect.
