These are the spore dishes i refer to in my grow log as the ones inoculated with an old and bad syringe wich resulted in a uncontrolled spray of spore inoculant. First i thought that they are contaminated but now that i opened the lids to take a picture, they seem fine. Maby the myc is growing inside the agar a bit because it got sprayed in with force? Idk. Im discarding them anyways because my other batch of petris hasnt arrived. :frown:

So i quess we could add to my confession that im a dirty hippie who reuses his syringes for so long that they malfunction. :laugh:

Seems like 99% of people in shroomery mushcult use the Bucket Tek. I do not and for saying this they call me arrogant cause i dont have pictures of my own mushrooms here. The mycoforum of my country just got their proof of shroomerys hostility. I do like it here though becaus of the agar. The archives are valuable.

I agree that they are ugly as shit. But still unsure if they are bacterial or if the spray of liquid just deformed the surface of agar. They are almost week old and no sweet smell. Ill take a better picture of the t1 cultures when i go to the SAB tomorrow. If i remember. Still learning to take pictures of the petris with my phone.

The ones inoculated with dry spores did a lot better. The spots where i took transfers also look good.

Confession time boys

Have felt comfortable buying various scheduled substances off the internet, currently afraid to buy 100% legal cultivation supplies

Also scared of liquid culture

Can’t get rid of bacteria in my spawn and it hurts my feelings

Recently considered starting a bag of uncle Ben’s for science, and still might.

Had a phase involving bathrooms, popcorn, spore syringes, and full cans of Lysol, which likely effected my life expectancy. Also attached gloves to an SAB around this time

Still convinced I can make an effective hood with an air purifier hepa, but will never post the evidence of this sin.

I started with Uncle Ben's TEK, inoculating with a LC syringe.

For the first month I bought LC syringes and spore syringes without knowing the differences.

I never opened the bags of rice of the first try of Uncle Ben's TEK I did, felt too much shame after seeing everything but mycelium inside. After 8 months the bags are unopened in a closet hidden from my roommates.

I also left my first monotub for 6 months, watching it produce impressing contaminations of different vivid colors (after trich perished), pointy things that looked really strange and fashinating shapes.
After reading about the importance of disposing of contaminations in the right way I still procrastniated it.
