I’m guessing she was here on a green card and you were her sponsor, which is why you were at USCIS with her? She got what she wanted. I don’t see how illegals immigrants had anything to do with her ability to come here.

The easiest scenario to make you understand, would be for example, the people who come here on tourist visas, but their intent wasn't to be a tourist, but to Mary their fiancé, of which is illegal, to come to America on a tourist visa with the intent to meet up with your fiancé and get married. They do this thinking they can skirt the long K1 visa times, of which are clogged by people trying to apply for various forms of immigration that they do not qualify all the paper work is processed at the same 7 or so USCIS offices and when you apply you enter the que in the order it is received at the office. Wait times are out of control.

My wife has gotten into heated arguments with people she knows doing this and other things along those lines.

She can't fucking stand them.

She's also in this large immigrant chat groups from when she was migrating here and everyone in them including the people that are not even in the USA yet hate the illegals.

They're line cutters and system cloggers. 

It all flows down the pipeline and everyone's in the same pipe.

That’s exactly what Elon Musk did. He was in the US on a student visa and never enrolled in his graduate studies at Stanford. He started working instead. Glad to hear people think that is illegal immigration as well because whenever I mention this about Musk, I get told that violating your visa restrictions doesn’t make you an illegal immigrant.

And please a K-1 visa itself is a form of line cutting.

Which is why more staff to handle the line is needed.  We limit every nation to a number of people who can legally immigrant here. Increasing that number too and your set.

Filling out a form and waiting 16 to 28 months isn't line cutting.

My ex had immigration issues, mostly by her own fault. In removal proceedings, it is on year 4. Thats without an appeal.

Been in a decent number of courtrooms and that shit is kangaroo. I would think that a year should suffice in making an initial decision. Give another year for an appeal...
Then just get that shit done, whatever the decision. They need to revamp and also hire more judges.

My wife's a full pledged citizen now so I don't have to deal with USCIS anymore.

It's nice to never need to go there again.
