Sure it's a shame that half the country voted in a felon. It's great that we live in a country where that kinda scumbag can actually be brought to justice for the crime in some way.

Yes lock up all the criminal politicians...why is it some kind of travesty that trump is the first? He gets a pass because they did? Gotta start somewhere. Might as well be the biggest liar and con man of our time... Hell Nixon never got jail time either. Should we dig up his corpse and charge him like they used to do with pipes in the past? Seriously though if they put Hilary and bush on trial I'd say give them hell.

Why is it so sad that we prosecuted a president for their crimes? I'll agree that it's sad we were ever in the position in the first place. But why is it sad that Donnie got clipped, and would it be sad if it happened to Biden?

Not if it is an "official act" of the president.  Otherwise, yes, we should.  But if, just if, for some reason, eating children by our president was for the good of the country (say aliens invaded and would vaporize the US unless Biden, as president, ate live children on live TV), then no, he should not be prosecuted.

I can understand that line of logic. But paying off porn stars and falsifying documents etc...only helped Donald Trump. Not the American people. So fuck that guy.

That’s not what he’s in trouble for. He conspired to hide the documents he had when the government asked for them. Using his lawyers, he lied to the government when they asked if he had any more, then he directed his employees to erase the tapes that showed them moving the documents so the government wouldn’t be able to find them. He also shared information from classified documents with reporters and other random people.

Here’s a little secret. Everyone in DC mishandles classified materials.

A lot of them are black. Black people don't like seeing the justice system used as a political tool, and that is how this looks to many people.

However any of you feel, the fact of the matter is, Trump is not the first president to commit crimes, and his crimes aren't anywhere close to the worst crimes committed by a president (Torture programs, indescriminately droning/machine gunning people in afghanistan, etc.) If we are going to go after him, we should go after all of them. 

It is a good thing to see a former president actually have his day in court... still, nothing will likely come of it, and it will only bolster his campaign.
