Back in May of 2023, Trump tried to get the hush money case removed to federal court. This was the decision  of the federal judge denying that request. The judge does a very good job of explaining the elements of the crime and the legal theory of the felony enhancement.

He couldn't pardon state charges as president, only the governor of New York can do that.

Actually it’s specifically mentioned that he is not able to pardon himself for this crime.

So as much of a fantasy as I’m sure that is for you, it’s impossible. He’s also not allowed to vote anymore.

You have to pay off your fines and court costs, too, which can be hard for a poor ex-con who can’t find a job because he’s a felon.

They literally warned him and notified him of when they were raiding so he wouldn't be there, which is not offered to people getting raided.
