You have a mixed collection. There appear to be ovoids, but also other species. The first pic doesn't look like an ovoid.

On a side note my journey eastward begins on friday, watching the weather pretty good and it looks like they will be flushing pretty good by the tine I hit Ohio/PA area, super stoked though nettles and ticks usually do a number on me this time of year

Nah I see a lot of smaller ones the size of ovoids and they rarely have the wine color. When they aren't growing in mulch, they are usually solitary, small and pale yellow.

Well, my main spot was washed out pretty good. Looks like everything was under water for a couple days from what I could tell. I had to see all of this on Face Time.  :nonono:
Im hoping it just pushes things back a bit. This has happened before here.

Like ts said....this is the way ovoids propagate, especially around big river systems. It is tough to watch your newly found spots wash away but, fear not, with a little leg work...you'll be golden next spring....just follow the flood lines...the new debris piles are a good indicator of the high water marks and will provide nutrients for the new ovoid mycelium which eats voraciously. Sounds like you are treating them with shroomy respect by giving away the fruits of your labor.

The ovoid Gods respect that and will treat you accordingly.:mushroom2:

just follow the flood lines...the new debris piles are a good indicator of the high water marks I wish I had better pics of these newly formed debris piles, they are massive.  FLOOD LINES - not so easy 2 interpret due 2 the routes these massive piles took while being slammed n/2 the surrounding woods.  The before/after would put you in aw!

This is the location b/4 On right side of the arrow was the original large debris pile which diverted these new piles LEFT & in every direction.

They all pretty much look like ovoids besides the one in your first and fourth pics.

As mentioned, the alcohol extraction works well, but you can do an acid-base extraction as well. This will give you a more pure product. Pure psilocin, esentially.

I know exactly what you mean.....Back in 2013 there was a whole uprooted tree that was laying crossways over one of my spots, the current had carried it downstream....the tree was at eye level with a huge pile of debris under it.

It is just amazing the power of these floods and how the water just throws trees and even large rocks around. Also, there were dead shad lying 3-400 yards from the streambed. I actually found a few ovoids at the end of the season in some of the piles though.

I agree. It could be some other similar stropharia, leratiomyces or Hypholoma or something.

My guess is something like http://www.mushroomexpert.com/leratiomyces_percevalii.html

That pic that is questionable looks like psathrella species to me. With greyish gills and creamy white fragile looking stem.

mycology, Could you spread the mushrooms out so we can see all of them?  Unable to view specimens at the bottom of the bowl.  Other than that, all of the visible mushrooms in the bowl appear to be wet ovoids (PA variety).  Like everyone else has said, the yellowish one in 1st pic is not an ovoid.

Went hiking today and checked out a new spot in the area I've been recently venturing to.  Was able to locate some more flood debris ovoids and a couple log clusters.  Also saw a lot a pin action going on.  Hopefully this weekends event will kick things back into high gear.  Other than that, I took the time to get stem butts from where we saw them and put them in places we didn't.  Was doing the same yesterday.  This new area is going to loaded by the time I'm done this season. Here's some of the ovoids we were able to observe today.  Pics 7 and 8 are of the same mushroom.  When I flipped it over to check the gills I found that moth just chilling there like that.
