Are you fat?
    #25903877 -

Im thinking of adding an hour of walking to my weightloss routine, what do you do to lose weight

Normally I ride my tricycle but I can't fix the damn thing. Pretty much sex, tricycle, and house work is all the exercise I get. Asante says most Americans are "adorably chubby"

Only hope can give rise to the emotion we call despair. But it is nearly impossible for a man to try to live without hope, so I guess that leaves Man no choice but to walk around with despair as his companion.

Im losing my weight pretty fast in three months of OMAD I went from 213 to 203, in three weeks of fasting random days Ive gone down from 203 to 189

im on day three of a fast, im probably gonna break it tomorrow with a keto meal so I dont get thrown out of ketosis and go another 3 or 4 days, rinse repeat till im like 150 or 140 or something, depends on how I look

With keto and OMAD feel like you should've been able to lose a lot more than 10 pounds in 3 months, 3 weeks sounds more typical for that kind of weight. Also fasting shouldn't be done too often, and some of that weight loss is just glycogen and water and even a little bit of muscle if you're doing it long enough. If you already only eat once a day, you're already fasting enough to get a lot of benefits when it comes to fat loss without any of the negatives. Maybe try PSMF for a couple weeks instead of straight fasting every few days. The weight loss won't be as fast but it would be more quality weight loss. But yeah the only exercise you should really be doing when fasting is walking though.

Living, as I do now, around so many obese people (in an office of approx. 2000, 1/3rd to 1/2 must be obese) I simply cannot understand this either.

What crosses ones mind when your waist is expanding by inches? Does one think 'maybe I should eat less?', or does one just not care?

I know eating disorders due to trauma must count for a decent number, but that many??? Surely not.

At my age, I can get fat if I don't watch it, but why would I not watch it?

Let it be seen that you are nothing. And in knowing that you are nothing... there is nothing to lose, there is nothing to gain. What can happen to you? Something can happen to the body, but it will either heal or it won't. What's the big deal? Let life knock you to bits. Let life take you apart. Let life destroy you. It will only destroy what you are not.

A little bit.

I quit eating round up & gluten about a month ago. I have been losing weight. Next month I will be at a healthy weight.

I skin feel so soft and smooth.

My mind is clear again.

I feel better than I have in 10 years.

You might wanna start paying more attention to your food.

When I was a kid. The food was not poison.

What your eating now is poison resulting from trying to feed 9 billion poor people

I hope I changed my diet in time to avoid cancer.

I was seriously about to fucking die.

I took some LSD in 2009 my Sr. Year in high school.

During that trip I convinced myself the government was going to introduce a 2 stage virus for population control in order to stabilize the earth again.

Maybe I wasn't so crazy after all.

Round Up/Glutin cluster is stage 1 of the virus.

However, it is common practice among farmers to spray their wheat crops with glyphosate immediately prior to harvest—doing so actually kills the plant, which speeds the required drying of the grain. This is called "dessication." This practice makes it easier for farmers to time when they harvest their wheat crops, and allows for more uniform drying.

Samsel and Seneff note that the incidence of celiac disease and gluten sensitivity have risen dramatically worldwide, but especially in North America and Europe, and they blame the weed-killer glyphosate for this increase

Celiac disease, and more generally, gluten intolerance, is a growing problem worldwide, but especially in North America and Europe, where an estimated 5 percent of the population now suffers from it. Symptoms include nausea, diarrhea, skin rashes, macrocytic anemia and depression. It is a multifactorial disease associated with numerous nutritional deficiencies as well as reproductive issues and increased risk to thyroid disease, kidney failure and cancer. Here, we propose that glyphosate, the active ingredient in the herbicide, Roundup, is the most important causal factor of this epidemic. Fish exposed to glyphosate develop digestive problems that are reminiscent of celiac disease. Celiac disease is associated with imbalances of gut bacteria that can be fully explained by the known effects of glyphosate on gut bacteria.

when you expose wheat to a toxic chemical like glyphosate, it actually releases more seeds resulting in a slightly greater yield:

of 2012, 99% of durum wheat, 97% of spring wheat, and 61% of winter wheat has been treated with herbicides.

Roundup as a wheat desiccant results in glyphosate residues regularly showing up in bread samples.

In the Netherlands, use of Roundup is completely banned with France likely soon to follow.

Study: Chemical in Roundup may increase cancer risk by 40 percent. ... Researchers examined studies conducted between 2001 and 2018 and found that the chemical could increase the risk of Non-Hodgkin Lymphoma by up to more than 41 percent, according to new findings published this month in Science.

Worldwide, 9.4 million tons of the chemical have been sprayed onto fields. For comparison, that’s equivalent to the weight of water in more than 2,300 Olympic-size swimming pools. It’s also enough to spray nearly half a pound of Roundup on every cultivated acre of land in the world.

Looks like my delusions might hold some truth.

I am 190 and a bit over 6'. I have been down to about 170 in recent memory. Should be able to get outside and get some exercise a bunch more in the near future. A lot is just not overeating though.

Walking is better than nothing but it’s really not going to help you lose weight. Running for 20 minutes would do a lot more.

I was put on meds that made me gain about 45lbs over about 9 months. After 4 years I'm off those meds and I've already lost 32lbs without doing much of anything.

Lol what a deceptive chart.

It’s damn easy to get two sets of growth data to line up when you manipulate the axis like that. If you start one at 0, then start the other at zero. Starting at 27 is manipulative as fuck

Is celiac really increasing or has the diagnosis become easier. The modern diagnostic criteria were introduced in 1990. Interesting that’s where the chart starts.

Yeah. It'll be at least a year of healthy weight loss before I'm at an ideal weight. Doing the intermittent fasting thing. Helps me with the prime factor in losing weight. Need my calories in<calories out.

Best way to lose weight is eat less/avoid high calorie foods like soda/high fructose corn syrup. Counting calories will net the quickest weight loss. Walking an hour a day will make you healthier too but weight loss will take longer. Also packing on muscle with weight lifting makes you burn more calories baseline.

I'N AVOIDING FOODS WITH ADDED FRUCTOSE.

If you want some serious info about what makes people fat, watch this university lecture:

Fructose 2.0

Sugar is fermented into alcohol.

Both fructose-containing sugar and alcohol are liver toxins in excessive doses (half an ounce a day of either ethanol or fructose) that will cause metabolic syndrome and obesity.

Most fat people are almost ONLY fat because excess fructose and alcohol wrecked their metabolism.

Heres another university lecture:
