'you're right....I had no idea what i was talking about...does this mean people will stop asking me for locations then? '

Its because yor are a living god, and everyone must bow down before your opinions because they are so very, very learned... Is that the kind of validation your ego needs? Sounds like it... And then there was someone telling me that psychedelics are a tool for moving beyond earthly concepts of ego and understanding the truth in its true, transcendental obscurity...
My job as a moderator is to point at comments that are either disinformation or based on incorrect assumptions or information - that is what I did to you originally - voiced my opinion. Im sorry you took that to heart.

'hey bluemeanie, i hear it's high summer in Australia now...hows the weather down under?..pretty dry, huh?....not much happening fungus-wise, eh?...Not much to do down there?...pretty boring if it wasn't for these threads, huh?'

Yes, I spend all my time brooding on jealousy because I dont live in San Fran and cant be as cool as you. - another person who spends most of their time writing in these forums rather than spending their time hunting. At least there are no mushrooms out there where I am - if there were I wouldnt be spending my working day speculating with you...

Ive been asked to keep this thread based on pictures so Im guessing that since the person who started it wanted pics only that might be the way to go...

Mushroom hunting today was a choice i made out of regret of not finding enough yesterday.
lets see:
arrived at ggp and immediately began looking everywhere i could think of.

found a shitload of these shits:

My next stop was a large area where i noticed i was being watched for a lengthy period of time by a gentleman who seemed utterly
interested in whatever i was doing. awesome. i didnt find cyans there, but i did find galerinas which i examined purposely in hopes of him being horribly disapointed.

i walked around for another couple hours, where i finally ended up at the base of one fucked up tree. i climbed on it for a while bc it was kinda fun:

i dont even know what these are:

wandered around for a little while longer in hopes of making a find. finally after plunging through brush and bush i arrived at the scene of 2 glorious looking cyans, actually they were just alright but after 4 hours, i was semi pleased:

what the fuck is this?

at twilight i made my final and most bizzare find. The sun was almost gone and i was hopeful. i jumped into a completely random area and by complete chance, i found 2 perfect cyans. made me happy.

then i smoked and peaced out.

I went out yesterday and had the worst thing happen.  My best patch is now being camped upon by a big, surly homeless guy!  He fuckin shit, pissed, littered, slept on and trampled all over this awesome little patch that still has great mycelium growth under all his trash.  He chased me off after I got the last few remaining specimens.  I tried to explain to him that public land is for everyone to use, but that didn't seem to get through.  I didn't feel like getting stabbed, so I left and had him following me through the park for about 15 minutes until I doubled back and lost him.  What the hell should I do?  Scatter broken glass all over it when he's not there?  Heh heh.  That actually might work...

Im not fucking with 'us' - the only person ive had a go at is you - and even then all I did was demonstrate how your various statements of fact are really just your opinion.
thats my job - im a moderator - I moderate. I never once swore at you or flamed you in any way.
By your responses I take it that you take any criticism of your posts as a personal attack - therefore the ego issue is your own.
And some of the people you refer to as 'us' dont share your opinion that I am the person causing most of the problems in the San Fran threads. Next time someone asks me to close one because its gone off topic I will oblige.

You should really peace out mate. Your way too sensitive. This is just an anonymous internet forum - im not slighting you personally...

As far as Im concerned Guzman has Identified it as Ps.cyanescens. Until someone demonstrates otherwise ill leave the issue at that.

HA!
Maybe I'll just give him a bottle of wild turkey and tell him to drink up because the world is ending and come back a couple hours later.  He should be deep in a whiskey coma by then.
The real problem is that he is unknowingly ruining the fruiting process by constantly trampling the patch.  Even I had a problem with accidentally stepping on shrooms the first time I visited this spot.  My other idea is to hang a bunch of signs that claim the government does secret testing on people who sleep in that area or some other ridiculous conspiracy shit that only a homeless San Franciscan would believe.  However, I am still partial to the broken glass.  I swear I'll clean it up after a few weeks.

Stop experimenting half way through your first grow. Grow it to maturity, watch it, learn from it. Do this a few times then experiment with different ideas and figure out what works best for you.

Took a trip up to SF today, visited GGP. My big cyan patch from last time was barren, so either someone found it or it's just too dry.

I did, however, find my first fib, and nearby it a small cyan as well. Not much of a score though.

I noticed those as well. They're like pulsating balls of man-eating alien fungus. I'm afraid to touch them when they're fresh... I ripped one open and it looked like it had teeth.
