Creating ourselves?

Do you ever get the feeling we are creating ourselves?
Or is that just me...
Hehe...stoned and had a random shroom memory where I kept thinking that I had created myself.

i agree with that idea- usually i think about it in terms of relationships. like, i'm creating myself for the other person. when a person doesn't know you the smallest thing you do/say totally invents who you are for them.

"Men use thought only as authority for their injustice, and employ speech only to conceal their thoughts." Voltaire.
You have no need to conceal your thoughts, and so use speech sparingly!

I create my history as its main character, and this history got oh so many bi-characters.. to me ATM, you do to..
as we all talk, as the main character of our story, and let the bi-characters do their own talking, as the main character of their own story's.. we are story tellers, telling the same story?
creating our story we are creating ourselves, even, as me!?

(oops, to Ellemy of course) Personal or global context ? Personal, it's a good thing..something to rely on, becaue you have it in your hand. It's under your control... Global, very dangerous...the earthpopulation is living more and more in a monetary illusion, while killing their earthly roots and true relationships...

I have a similar shroom memory. We created ourselves because we are all god, simply biding away eternity.

"Do you ever get the feeling we are creating ourselves?"
That depends. Many people are allowing society, their parents, peers, and educators to create them while they exert no control. Absorbing a positive influence is great, but to allow others to unknowingly and blindly program who you are and what you stand for, while you stand idly by, is perilous. We should pay attention to our programming and assume responsibility for it then we will be creating ourselves. It is important to deprecate programming code one no longer needs lest it causes kernel panic .
-------------------- "A warrior is a hunter. He calculates everything. That's control. Once his calculations are over, he acts. He lets go. That's abandon. A warrior is not a leaf at the mercy of the wind. No one can push him; no one can make him do things against himself or against his better judgment. A warrior is tuned to survive, and he survives in the best of all possible fashions." ― Carlos Castaneda

FORMAT C: my ass....FDISK instead. The whole concept of a C drive is a flawed concept....once again...someone else's programming.

Yeah, but everyone knows that certain OSs are more prone to crash...I prefer "/boot" "/swap" and "/" for my filesystem arrangement. With a C drive you put all of your eggs in one basket...something we should all avoid doing. This is a very valid metaphor for life.
