What temperature did those fruit at?

My aa+ were surprisingly solid, but it was only one grow so far.

Fruiting Temps were around 85F (30C) LGT :edit: my bad these were indeed AA+

Camera93, thats one of the last of my sweater boxes. I went bulk for the first time and got 27 oz off of two monotubs and 10 of those sweater boxes. Sweater boxes put out a quarter pound for two of em. Got new grain now for a respawning after I do some g2g and get a few hundred jars going. Should be pretty good. :awesomenod:

If anyone wants a print pm me. They've been consistently producing big non golden teacher looking shrooms with strechy veils.

After prepping brown rice for a bulk grow and putting into quart jars, I had enough left for a pint jar, and figured I'd fill it and inoculate it anyway and use it as a master for the next grow. It showed growth in only one spot, but it had thick rhizo growth and colonized pretty quick.

I added the sterilized water to the jar, shook it up. I tried to suck it back up into the syringe, but I couldn't get it through the needle, and that's when I remembered: Stupid me, I had thrown a little verm in because the leftover rice at the bottom of the bowl seemed a bit wet. So, I got what I could from the jar, used it to inoculate an LC with fingers crossed.

I was stuck with this pint jar of wet grains I thought I'd wasted. I figured what the hell, let's try an outdoor grow. I wet some rich organic potting soil into mud, then microwaved until it boiled a few mins, then mixed it with the grains when the hot soil cooled to below 80F. I threw this into a bonsai pot, cased it with some leftover Jiffy seed starting mix I'd tyndallized for the pods tek. I covered it loosely with foil, and put it outside in a metal storage cabinet. That was 4 days ago. Today: myc pushing through the casing.  :nyan:

I have a feeling it will be a while before it fruits because of the nutritive soil, but it makes me smile that life finds a way! :dancer:

You’re probably thinking Psilocybe Cyanescens. I’m growing Panaeolus Cyanescens, Mostly on straw and hpoo. Cased with peat/verm.  If you’re unfamiliar you should do some research on them. 9/10 psychonauts agree, once you try pans you won’t wanna bother eating cubes again.

Check out these contaminated plates. I poured this sleeve + wrapped them with parafilm a month or so ago and put them back in their sleeve.
I took a few out to germinate some spores a few days ago, set them on my FH table - I didn't unwrap them. I never got around to inoculating them.

Today I look at them and notice they've all contaminated right at the edge - I was baffled for a minute but I figured out what happened.

It's been real hot lately so the parafilm stuck together and when I took them out it must have split in a few little holes - I've had my fan and AC on so I guess contams must have gotten blown in while sitting on the FH table (FH was off).

See the wrapped side and then the split part? It was exactly this spot where the contamination is.



Always wrap your plates well!
