  Infrastructure has to be built to a govt enforced building code or it will fail and kill people .
  Think of what buying a house would be like without the permitting process . You would have no way of knowing if what you are buying is safe to live in or even worth the money your spending .


Hire an inspector you trust before you build a home. It should be your responsibility.

That’s a really nonsensical response . Inspectors work off of the building code that is created by the govt . They don’t make up their own rules for shit .

It isn't about winning.  It's about making your opinion known.  If 100,000 people like you don't vote because your candidate wont win, that's 100,000 invisible opinions.  If you all write in the candidate of your choice, that's going to be noticed...It won't change anything immediately, but maybe another 100,000 out there who feel disenfranchised will see what you did and decide they want to do it next time.  All movements start somewhere.  Either do your part or STFU about it.

No those are facts, the US has the highest immigration population than any other country. You made a claim (that I never left the "us")that you failed terribly at. I know its not in your wheel house to admit you are  wrong.....and then claim I am ignorant.:facepalm:

The US doesn’t even come close to being number one in per capita immigrant population. Canada has nearly twice as many immigrants per capita.

The US is 65th in immigrant population per capita

Per capita doesn't even make sense to judge the immigration metric. A place with a small population only needs a few immigrants to make the top of the list...

Yeah but it's not like those people turn up and that's the end of it, they need to be housed and enter the workforce etc.
Per capita shows which countries are doing the heavy lifting.

Per capita is one metric. If two countries have comparable populations it becomes more interesting.
