It's nothing like that. It's more like you know about a child sex ring, but you've chosen to do nothing about it.

Votes determine the president.  By not voting, you have specifically chosen to let other people determine who the president is.  That makes you responsible.

This kind of implies there should be a president at all. Like child sex traffic rings we try to dismantle them from the outside.

Choosing the president is a game some people play with implications for everyone living within certain borders.

Buuuuttttt the only way to fix the system is to vote for the right people. That is some brainwashing

Yeah, you can make nonsense posts like that because you have been afforded the opportunity to do so by a society.  That society that enables you to LARP as an anarchist is founded on hard work and centuries of refining.  You are absolutely free to move to Somalia and enjoy anarchy in all its glory. 

You're also free to sit in your home using your collectively funded electricity to post on a government funded internet and rail against the very society the fruits of which you seem to be enjoying.

The free to move argument comes out. Man i thought you of all people would be above that one. I like it here and I want to make it better. And a single person being president is ridiculous so is our two party system.

Also to think the internet, roads, etc.. would exist without our specific system of governance is beyond ridiculous. People made that shit not government. Our internet would be better and so would our roads

But I did really want your honest opinion of what to do at the ballot box to make things better. Since not going to the ballot box is apparently worse?

You can write in any canidate. The US standard of living is not A1, but it is close to the top. If we suck that bad, why do we have the highest immigration count than other countries? If one does not like the canidate for nomination, better get involved in the primaries.

  Infrastructure has to be built to a govt enforced building code or it will fail and kill people .
  Think of what buying a house would be like without the permitting process . You would have no way of knowing if what you are buying is safe to live in or even worth the money your spending .

She also was with Peter Gabriel for 4 years and inspired "In Your Eyes". I'm biased, but on a 1-10 scale I put Gabriel about 7 above Toto. Porcaro is a good producer and arranger but the band sucked. Toto Too was a clever name for a 2nd album.
