bottom left hand corner is Cortinarius archeri

do not consume as it is poisonous.  people have lost kidneys from confusing Cortinarius sp. with Psilocybe subaeruginosa

You can see the different shade of purple to the normal blue! Lucky you posted it here

Cortinarius archeri has a brown spore print too I think, a great way to double check (along with posting images here) is to take a spore print! Subaeruginosa will have a black/dark purple spore print.

Mushrooms like Cortinarius archeri and galerina (two species people mistake with subaeruginosa) will have a brown/rusty brown prints.

You can then take the spores and spread them around!!!

Found enough today for the rest of the season, I’m not going to be posting photos of large finds anymore because I don’t want too much attention in this thread. just know that there are enough subs in the bush at the moment for the whole of Tasmania to experience ego loss, get out in the middle of the state if you can and go mental!
