Difference between Drug Prohibitionists and Other Believers

Both start off by pretending to use logic.

Both base their stance on unfounded and borrowed assumptions.

Both, when cornered by inconsistencies in their own logic, fail to answer direct questions and resort to wild fabrications and excuses and appeal to emotionalism rather than reason.

Is there truly a difference?

other believers believe in things which don't exist, drug prohibitionists are just retarded.

I've commented on this as well.

The DEA commissions a study to prove marijuana is harmful. When the study comes back showing it's harmless, the DEA suppresses the study and says "It's Harmful".

The True Believer says he can do telekinesis and will win Randi's millions. At the test, the object to be moved is placed in an airtight jar and, surprise!, it doesn't move. Instead of admitting he has been deceiving himself for years, the True Believer says he failed because the researches have a negative attitude.

Find clear evidence that contradicts your belief and rather than honestly accept it in good faith, obfuscate the evidence and make excuses. I see no difference difference between Prohibitionists and Believers. :shrug:

I don't believe anyone's ever been sent to prison for possession of telekinesis.
