telekinesis at the shroomery gathering.

i waited till the last day, but i have shown telekinesis to effed, zerohero and i believe fungushungry may have been watching in addition to one other person whom i do not remeber, and unsure if he was watching.

anyways, i've only shown effed once, and he was unconvinced and has not brought it up again, but i'd be curious to see what zerohero thought of my demonstration, and fungushungry if he was watching.

anyhow, i'm not full of shit, if you're not sure, get out the thumbtack and prove it to yourself.

How can some one be "unconvinced" if you showed true telekinesis? Blowing really hard and moving a piece of paper through power of wind is not telekinetic...

Ergot raises a good question. But then again, there are magicians out there. Maybe he thought it was a trick.

If a person could do all that i asked him, i dont see how i could stay unconvinced.( i wouldnt even try to deduce it too scientifically i'd just ask him/her to do it in it a couple of different ways.)

ok i am here.. I was wondering what that pm trendal sent me was about.  effed asked me to respond to this thread. :smile:

I am in awe of what happened that day. I don't how he did it but it did move. it was difficult for him to do it but it would spin at least 4-5 times without the help of wind or any other vairable such as that. he simply placed his hands next to the paper with a tact balancing it(the paper) in air.  then the wheel moved about 5 times then stopped.(it moved in different direction too).  I tired to make sure everything was sterile(not rigged) and it wasn't.

  I could only think of the logical way to explain this was some kind of heat that is generated from the hand being close to the paper.  and that maybe the heat would cause air to circulate to make the paper move.  if that doesnt' hold true to science(I have no idea if it does) then that was telekinesis. I am not one to believe in telekinesis but if my theory on why it did what it did, doesn't make sense then, yes I will humble my ego and say it was a great form of telekinesis.  i am very glad trueKimbo showed me this and I hope he gets the money he might deserve. :smirk:

can someone tell me if my theory on why it moved might be right??  I beleive I had also made it move myself but I am not sure.(it was a hazy morning)

PS. I was not on any drugs either. only pot.

telekinesis is a funny thing though, alot of poeple simply won't be able to see or accept things that completely fuck thier current understanding of the world. i mean, tons and tons of scientific studies have been done, its even relatively simple to do some small feats of macro tk. you do the math.

(if you think tk is hard to swallow, one of my life goals is to be able to mess with time, and not like slow it down but travel through it)

You have had at least six months to practice since you last posted about this.

telekinesis is a funny thing though, alot of poeple simply won't be able to see or accept things that completely fuck thier current understanding of the world.
Funny thing is: people would rather yack about it than demonstrate and then list endless reasons for their failure based on the observer rather than the performer. Can you imagine a ballplayer, "I would have hit a homerun if not for the disbelieving spectators. Damn them!

Well, it is certainly easy to talk about it. Small or large, the $20K reward is the same, whether you move a a feather or a 100lb dumbell.

te he, so hostile. i haven't practiced for more than a couple hours a week in nearly a year. because its a pointless skill to learn.

funny thing is, i did demonstrate it... at the shroomery gathering. mixed reviews, but if anyone had felt like going through step by step and checking thier various hypothiesis about how it might be a natural phenomon i would have gone through and shown them it wasn't.

zerohero, if you're still reading this thread, my challenge to you is to start trying to do it yourself, and when effed gets home i'm going to sit him down and do it till he's convinced enough to support me in this thread.

don't worry swami, i'll be out to las vegas SOMEDAY :P

I used to play around with stage magic (illusions, slight of hand) when I was younger. One of the tricks that I used to perform would impress most skeptics that I could perform telekensis... but it was just an illusion. The effect started out with a small shiny metal bar inside of a glass test tube with a cork stopper in the top. I would hold the closed tube+bar out in front of me, and the bar would start to dance around... eventually it would push the stopper out and lift out of the test tube. The bar would float between my hands... while it was hovering below one hand I could take a solid metal ring with the other hand and pass it around the bar several times to show that no strings were holding it up. The bar would eventually float back into the glass test tube, the stopper would get replaced and the trick would be over. Again, nothing mystical about this... it was all done with "smoke an mirrors" (so to speak). Show me somebody that can break the house at the craps table and I will accept that they have telekenesis.

no stage tricks involved in my performance.

manipulating "chance" is called micropk

i mean, you have no reason to trust the validity of it, but gotpsi.com is an attempt to get scientific data on various psi things. check out the high scorers page. they'll be about 10 poeple with incredible 1:5000 odds over the course a 200 trials or something like that and then the rest is all standard.

Oh my god!!! I'm telekenetic.  I just put a piece of paper on a nail and as soon as I cupped my hands around it it started spinning.  I didn't even try or anything.  The hardest part by far was balancing the paper on the nail.

I can demonstrate my amazing powers with an even better trick: moving an object around with my mind.  I simply think of a few words to say, like "Could you please pass the salt", and voila! the salt moves towards me with no physical effort on my part.  I know its a mental power because if I think of something else to say, like "Pass the salt you lazy bitch!!" the salt behaves unpredictably, either standing still or flying really fast at my head.
