Most right-wingers never show even the basic capacity to understand their opposition's arguments, let alone steelman them. If they even bother to read what their opponents say, and dont just ignore and troll, they usually resort to a completely delusional misrepresentation of what their oppositions arguments are -which is the opposite of a steelman argument.

A steelman is a reading of an argument in the best possible, strongest light- so that you fairly judge it, and form the strongest argument against it. 

I keep asking why they believe what they believe, and they always avoid it. Why? Because they know if they tell the truth, what they actually think, it would make them look bad. So they hide behind more bullshit and lies and crybully tears.

not sure , our intelligence services dont have it as part of the job description though and ive seen any discussions about it in parliament so im guessing it not a problem.
