I've been using a $100 3 stage RO filter for about a year now, actually just change filters. TDS between 1-3ppm, no complaints

Tax: Subtropicalis Tres Soles chugging along.

IDK if these are cake killers, I've seen it before tho.  Cake's still in good shape, starting to get knots on the others.

And here we are today:

Gonna let these flatten out and take prints.  The recipe works!

Leucistic (perhaps Albino Actually) Eungella Australia

Did some swabs, no sign of spores, so proably actually albino. Makes the name worse :l

Kinda wish it didnt just look like a TAT, but apparently certain things about albinos makes them more prone to being squat (melanin helps the cells be stretchier?).

Original clone sampl0e at bottom left, survived pseudomonas, perhaps this culture will be extra prone to survive bacteria.

P. Ochraceocentrata β€” tomorrow it's time to expand it and set it to colonize. So excited!

Yeah, in a upcycled makeup container I usually use β€” it felt like the closest thing to a Petri dish I have at home β€” and honestly, they work well.

I hope I haven't broken any forum rules β€” this isn't an ad/promotion. :ashamed:

Third Melmac flush looks better than the second one. I think my second only had 2 fruits. This time, I didn't punish or recase. I just plucked the 2 I had, left it alone, and wah lah!

Pink oyster bag I sprayed with ISO by accident lookin like it's doing fine! Block is a mix of grain and pasteurized oak chips. Is the discoloration likely from tannins in the wood? It didn't seem like it was dumping metabolites or anything.

Decided to top fruit the other pink oyster grain jar by throwing a lil coir on top and sticking a sandwich bag over top of the jar, seems to he working! Interested to taste the difference of wood vs no wood in the substrate.

Hi Mashedpotatoes

Happy to see you've been going at it

Just wanted to say that you don't need to soak the grains, give them a thorough rinse until the water is clear and get out the floaters.

Bring it to a light boil and put a lid on the pot, 35 minutes later you can start checking if the grains are hydrated by splitting a couple of grains, any flour inside? boil another 10 minutes and check again until there's no flour.

Oh and I found out there already is an Albino Riptide variety out there, a cross between Albino Golden Teacher and Tidal Wave, which yours is not, so I changed the name to something cringy because I'm lazy and to make sure it doesn't gets mixed up with the already existing Albino Riptide.

Now you don't need to use the name I gave it, but if you ever do a giveaway I suggest you call it something else so others don't think they are getting the AGTxTW cross.

I'm so sorry to everyone reading this, but I named it Kloakk's AROG(Albino Riptide OG) since it came from a Riptide OG culture that threw me an albino fruit :ashamed:

Kloakk's AROG tax lol
