gonna give these guys a few more days before harvest. I honestly thought this tub (camel) would go into a bit of a dormant spell but it just chugged out this fourth flush instead:

Within the last year, I was wanting for semp spores - for a reroll- and somewhere along the way they just started dropping HEAVY every flush.

^Reishi on mixed grain and a T2 of them.
shook them about 4 days ago then reshook after the pic, will spawn very soon.
I'm not fully familiar with reading the myc yet but all my reishi jars look like that (whispy, tender, hirsute) so I'm going to roll with it- I think the myc looks cool on agar.

Any reishi custodians have any input there?

Excited to see how they take to high HWFP/ low coir tubs, will be within the week no doubt.

I'll be going with slices instead of open block with Reishi the next time I get around to growing them like Turkey Tail.  Reishi is fast to grain, but slow fruiter, be patient.

Did you find Reishi grew happy when spawned to low (on the grain side) spawn ratios?

I've read that around somewhere.

I plan two tubs at 6:1 and one at 3:1.
One of the 6:1s I was going to allow more air to see how that goes. (presumably less antler formation)

Any Reishiers, feel free to chime in.

99% of mushroom cultivation is agar work, the other 99% is clean spawn.

Climate was better everywhere but the direct center was all.

But considering I pulled 2600 wet from 4 quarts of spawn, the resources were probably being all used up.
