Second flush coming in of ochra.  They seem resistant and can give some good flushes.  I’m a beginner so lots to improve on

I have yet to take anything above a micro for ochras personally. The only thing I can say about them is the felt zippier to me. A higher energy sort of mushroom. Almost stimulating.

Well, the guy says is African transkei. As there's no cubes in Africa like some guy told here in the thread some comments ago, or is ochras or is fake.

I will maybe try to ask him for more pictures.

If that's the case, then he or someone else mixed up cultures. Don't need more pictures. Pretty dang certain they're cubes

It's very old pictures so who knows. Maybe it was mixed up or something. I will ask him, probably he has more pictures about the supposed African Transkei.

A gill shot seems to be a more reliable tell compared to others, since they start to run down the stipe on ochras. Not seeing any of that on the close-up photo, but it's not the best angle for it.

I’ve tried something new with my Martha grow to take advantage of side pinning
They look a lot better in the Martha than the tubs that’s for sure
I’m not sure why I keep on growing. These probably just exhaust what spawn I have left as the high is too inconsistent.
Each mushroom is a different potency

My experience with Ochra was that it was more stimulating as well, also much cleaner. Pleasant body vibrations, instead of just the weight of cubes.

Yeah, I've been doing them just like pans.  Casing and nitrogen in an autotub.  Nitrogen just because I prep it for pans anyway.

A lot better morphology than what I usually see folks post from monos.

Quoting myself from May or whatever.  But mostly just posting to concur with you 99.99.

There is around 1g of Nitrogen in 100ml of human urine - just saying :ushankadrink:

Probably seaweed. But I don't really know much about it.

Don't use ashes, they're extremely alkaline.  I do use biochar, but I rinse it very well because of alkalinity.

But it's a stabilized carbon, not nitrogen.  I use it for its porosity, and because it can absorb other nutrients like nitrogen from liquid fertilizer.

Exactly. For me it all started off like a massage, whereas with Cubes it’s more like a workout right from the start. All trip felt much more pleasant too – it didn’t tear me to shreds or scare me to death; in fact, I felt looked after and safe. A very interesting experience. And then there’s the silence. The Cubes are as noisy as a jungle, very chatty, whereas with these ones I think I heard them maybe three times in total during the whole trip.
