cheers for that, I was gonna use shredded grass seeds too, but then scattered them on my lawn today cause I cut it and it looked a bit patchy might have to go pick up some more. I'm only gonna do a small grow to start with, so a little bagful should be grand

(and I totaly get the 'too scared to try' bit. i've indulged twice in the last 3 years, and one of them was a rotten 5 or 6 hours, puking and in a shitty old state. ultimately it was good for me, but not fun at all

good stuff mate. I think I'm going to try pans, so I'll study Stonesun's TEK about 15 times, then crack on. it's good to see a variation in substrates, I guess as long as there's most of what it's after, it'll munch away quite happily
