Lol no lie, just down the road from me ON THE VERY SAME ROAD, there are three farms and a local zoo/farm, each are within a half mile of each other. I know the lady who has the alpacas, she has a huge pile mixed with alpaca and horse nuggets just sitting next to the barn, she gives it out on craigslist. I'll porbably get me some here soon, I get horse poo from someone who also lives not too far from me. But the zoo/farm (they call themselves a farm but its like a petting zoo) They have camels, goats, zebras and reindeer. Plenty of poo for me

I honestly don't even see any mycelium in tht jar. Just what appears to be a "wet spot"??? Then again, those arent the best pictures..

yea pics suck but closely you can clearly see white rhizo morph hairs section along side the bluish grey colonized area reaching out for sub. And they're colonizing pretty well! Didn't want to have to spawn just fruit from jars. The "wet spot" is the LI it's starting to sweat in there.

Chicken manure is only an additive so use it lightly with horse or cow manure

I'm curious if you've found out what they are? They remind me of Panaeolus cyanescens.
That's the only shot I got of them. I checked to see if they bruised blue and that's about it, they didn't. Should have taken at least a close up. It's anyone's guess I suppose. I'd say the biggest ones were around 4-7 inches.

Ok! so I just went to mist the substrate for the 2nd flush after giving the substrate 24hrs to dry.. && stumbled upon a whole new pinset!!! But they were all aborted.. (I didnt keep up with the mistings, & air exchanges after the first flush wanted to give it a slight "rest" before rehydrating for the 2nd flush)
I didnt know Panaeolus flushed soo fast!!!
So I went ahead and picked all the baby aborted pins & misted her down. Hopefully she still has some energy to produce!
This has definitely been a learning experience.
(took me over an hour to get all the aborted pins lol)
Also, the final dry weight from the 1st flush was 17g dry.

I used:
1 part horse poo 1 part vermiculite 1 part shredded grass seed 1 part water 1 tablespoon used coffee 1 pinch of gypsum
I'll update when/if it works.

I heard they get darker the more you venture out there. Personally I'm too scared to try.

I've only tried the panaeolus cambodginiensis once.
It was from my first grow. I ate 1g my first time, and let me sayyyy IVE NEVER TRIPPED HARDER in my life!!!! Looking back, I probably should have started at .5g as suggested.
I have friends tht have taken them and are to afraid to indulge again, lol Saying "Acid just doesnt compare" (their words exactly)
Its not a dark trip IMO just different, extremely different!
I plan on dosing this weekend, if everything goes accordingly. If I do I'll definitely write it up.

I've only tried cow and hpoo so far, I used to use a ratio of 35%coir, 35% hpoo&cowpoo, 30% verm, and a handful of gypsum. Now I use coir/hpoo/verm, but I wanna try the alpaca poo one day since I can get it, it has hpoo mixed in with it too so thats even better haha.Camel poop sounds exotic for growing, lol.

I've tried pan cyanescence twice. The first time was my first mushroom trip, my neighbor had them. This was the summer after we had graduated, he was selling the mushrooms for $20 a gram! He gave me a good deal on an eighth of them though He told me you could trip off just 1 gram alone but I didnt believe him cause I had read you needed an eighth (obviously for cubes, I didnt know the diffrence at the time) I ate 2 grams! It was the craziest mushroom trip I will ever have, I just didnt know it yet. I hada blast though, I stared at these trees in my backyard one time and the light shining through the leaves became stars and the leaves became black and had become space. I ate the last 1.5 grams about two weeks later and had about an equally as great trip. I prefer them to cubes to be honest, I dont know if its that I'm just used to the experience now but I've never had a cube trip like those two pan trips, and I've done a quarter of cubes made into tea once.
