What you call "lingering effects" is systemic.  Until those effects are neutralized, we have a systemic racism problem.

Why are Jewish Americans underrepresented in prisons, massively over represented in corporate boardrooms and on the high end of the socioeconomic scale?  Systemic racism or behavior, because anytime anyone questions the results, the common answer from people that demand equality is behavior is the rational for the result in the case of Jewish Americans.

Do I think its a coincidence that blacks are poorer from lingering effects of oppression or systemic racism, no. I said now, in 2020 there is no systemic racism towards blacks, and didn't say it was always like that

So you admit that now there is no systemic racism and its lingering effects from past discrimination? Ok, i get behind that. How do you neutralize those effects without giving them outright privileges? Isnt time the best remedy?

systemic means that it is built into the system.  It doesn't require a vast conspiracy of millions of racists acting in concert.  "lingering effects" of widespread racism IS systemic racism.

The only way to fix it is through education and time. There's no laws that keep blacks down. Educated people = less racist people and the more time that goes on the more people forget about the past. Its all happening now as we speak and it will sort itself out in the long run.
But right now you cannot demonize whites for the past and you cannot give blacks special privileges

No one is demonizing whites.  Systemic racism is systemic.  It's not a white thing or a black thing.  It's a systemic thing.  That's the whole point.  Whites aren't to blame any more than blacks are.  We all share the responsibility of acknowledging the problem and working to fix it.  It just happens to be the case that a lot of white people haven't acknowledged it yet.

There are many proposed ways of fixing aspects of it.  One way is through a vast reduction in funding and responsibility for the currently mistrained and mismanaged police forces throughout the country.  This can minimize the damage while we hire and train new LEOs to replace the remainder.  With the monetary savings we can invest in our communities in ways that help ameliorate the problems that we currently send armed thugs to bash heads over.  Education is one of those things that can be properly funded via defunding vastly overinflated police budgets

I can't find any recent sources on the incarceration rates based on ethnicity/religion.

Lol im joking. Unlike alot of people nowadays im comfortable in my white skin. I also have native american in me so I am more tan than your average white guy. It wouldve been nice to be born into a wealthy jewish family tho.
