I would love to see just one credible and plausible explanation for why the "brain" organizes these infinitely complex alternate reality worlds that we can access with loving and compassionate advanced beings that are so convincing that people transform their lives after interacting with them.  Alternate worlds that are so endlessly complex and varied that they make our waking world seem tiny by comparison?  Why and how does our brain do this?  Where is all this in formation stored and organized?  How did it get there? 

Read Robert Monroe's book for a very thorough explanation of all these astral realms that exist just begging to be explored. WHY are they there if they are just brain illusions?  For what purpose?

From just a common sense standpoint it makes much more sense that these worlds exist with or without brain chemistry and our brain or consciousness simply tunes into that new "station". and witnesses those worlds much the same way we witness the physical world our body has an easy interface with.

KO, in your readings on this subject, what were the most frequently used methods of access to these worlds? (plausibly achievable ones anyway!)


- The near death experience
- Disciplined meditation (typically tantric in nature)
- Lucid dreaming
- OOBE (Out of Body Experience)
- Extreme sleep deprivation
- Food deprivation
- Extreme pain / heat / cold
- Shamanic Trance Dancing
- Qi Gong / Taoist Energy Exercises
- Hallucinogenics

All of these seem to be gateways to a consciousness shift that opens up a connect to other world systems that are experienced as being very real, amazingly complex and organized and filled with sheer awe or in some cases terror.  Certainly there are stories of worlds that are bizarre, blurry and disconnected but it is far more the case that the clarity and complexity are overwhelming.

Personally, I find the OOBE (Out of body experience) the most fascinating because it doesn't involve falling asleep or some very extreme outside influence in order to occur ... lucid dreaming as well but not to the same extent.  An out of body experience often feels as though the windshield has been wiped clean with everything sharper, clearer, cleaner.  In the OOBE state, many have been able to observe events happening in our "real world" with amazing accuracy.  There are OOBE'rs that can connect in the OOBE state and explore together while OOBE.

Do either one under controlled conditions and win a million dollars. Having been here for about 18 years I have compiled a list of True Believer excuses. I wonder which ones you will use. I am going with #17 and #43.

How do you achieve an OOBE? I thought that was something you gained from intensive meditation.

Why am I not surprised that you would pick a video analysis that completely ignores the eyewitness testimony and simply focuses on a few videos ... Listen to the descriptions in a video like this.  They are describing a very, very different experience than what the folks on your video are trying to calmly explain away.

The Monroe Institute has proven this repeatedly using a scientific process and thorough documentation.  Have you read Monroe's books on it?  He's a pretty serious guy.

The CIA has been doing this for decades as well.

This is a very proven method.  Thousands have had success with it.

They also have self-guided CD based programs.

I followed Castaneda's advice in my early 20's and within a month or two was having pretty regular lucid dreams and OOBE's.  Since then have had thousands of them.

So eyewitness testimony (words) are greater than videos? Are you serious?

FIFTH TIME. These videos came from the believers claiming the lights were overhead and that it was a large craft. So you do not see the cognitive dissonance here? This clearly shows how faulty eyewitness testimony can be.

Someone here is trying very hard for a Density Award.

The details AMAZINGLY match that of their childhood teachings. Atheists that have not had childhood indoctrination do NOT see mystical holy men by any name.

In the book "Saved by The Light" NDEer Dannion Brinkley tells us of some dozen post-dictions he got from the other side. A post-diction is something that happened BEFORE the book was published!

The testimonies in the case where we have evidence got EVERYTHING wrong. But we should dismiss them and listen to the other flawed observers. Gotcha.
