After reading your post, it's clear to me that you and I have very different understandings of the meanings of some key terms used in this thread.

I disagree wholeheartedly...most likely because of how I define "hate."

People might say, "I hate anchovies on pizza" but they're using the word as hyperbole...they don't actually hate anchovies in the same way that a rape victim hates her rapist.  The word is the same, but the meaning is entirely different.  One is a passive dislike for something based on reason...the other is an active hatred for someone based on anger and fear.  It isn't just about what a person does in response to the hatred...the actual emotion is different.  The rape victim specifically spends time and energy focusing on hating the rapist...The pizza guy never gives it a thought.

It's your thread, and if you meant to discuss "class hatred" using the word in a passive sense, then that's fine...

I assumed you meant actual hatred of a class.  I maintain that such hatred is never a product of reason.

ANSWER: I've never tried shrooms.  Your question assumes I have.  If that's what you value, as a lawyer, keeping people out of jail ... if that's really your focus, not all the usual distractions I listed, then, Mr. Matlock, I accept your argument: you provide a better service to society than a navel gazing drug abuser.  :grin:

Hey, that was a complement!  Matlock wore baby blue suits--I like that.  He was folksy, humble yet incisive, and he won cases for his wrongly accused clients. :thumbup:

(I'll admit the relative worth argument I highlighted was a backhanded complement, though--but I meant it to be light & funny.  No real insult intended.  If you're keeping families together and keeping people out of jail, you really do have my respect.)
