Do you have any facts that run counter to those in the article that says the attacks were ordered by German NATO officials?

These continued attacks are horrendous, but those who are responsible for them should be blamed. Your little knee jerk reaction blaming Obama doesn't mesh with reality.

While I do understand that some dispute Obama's citizenship; I have never heard the theory that he's a German citizen, much less the Chancellor of Germany. Perhaps you meant Angela Merkel?

Your deep concern for Afghan civilians doesn't seem very sincere when juxtaposed with unfounded claims about the incident and shifting the entire blame to President Obama. Do you know that Germany is the leading team in the northern provinces of Afghanistan (their purpose is meant to be primarily security and reconstruction rather than pure combat)? German commanders were worried about the tankers being used in suicide attacks against nearby bases, and then requested air support, providing the target coordinates.

As I already pointed out on the last page, the fighter jets were undoubtedly U.S., but the operation was conducted between U.S. and other Western forces in a joint effort you might have heard of - the ISAF, or NATO. In this thread you have consistently labeled this "Obama's airstrike", etc, without any evidence that the decision to go ahead with the strike made it that far up the chain of command. Furthermore, the articles I have read (including the one in the first post) have made numerous references to the incident as a NATO airstrike, an ISAF operation, and similar descriptions that recognize the allied, multi-national nature of the command structure.

We're on page 2, now, and neither lonestar nor prisoner have acknowledged that NATO or Germany even exist in Afghanistan, let alone had anything to do with this attack in the northern area around Kunduz. If you read their posts, Obama is literally the only person who was involved in the incident. Nobody else.



By the way, the President's first name starts with a "B". Do you even think about your posts before you hit the button?

If they are innocent, it does not matter what they were doing.  However, seeing as CNN and MSNBC and FOX NEWS were probably not delivered to many households in the area at the time, your question is purely a rhetorical device designed to avoid logical arguments or moral questions regarding the killing of the innocent.
