Unions and management both prey on the ignorant workers. I have been involved with both and both suck the big one IMO.

sorry, I edited my post before i saw you replied. to everyone else, I had another analogy with atomic bombs instead of what i have now.

religion is a product of people exactly the way atomic bombs is a product of people. no one would argue that atomic bombs are harmless. yet people argue that religion is harmless because the people who follow it do the damage.

The people that build and blow up the bomb do the damage. the bomb is harmless. therefore don't blame bombs and welcome them into every home.

As you must know by now I am not a defender of religion. Quite the opposite. But if Christians believed whatever they choose to believe without trying to condemn others for their beliefs or to stop others from living as they choose, then this problem would never be a problem for me.

If every home had a gun but people were non-violent and caring then guns in homes wouldn't come up as a problem. And that's what I'm saying.

Truth is religion causes big problems in the world because people cause big problems in the world. Take away religion without changing human behavior and humans would find another avenue to reek havoc.
