stop fearmongering and acting so hopeless and pessimistic. that only gives them more power that they don't deserve. if you want to fight back you can start by treating them like the useless incompetent worms they are.

They don't read the shroomery

i mean it figuratively. this is about a state of mind, as it is psychic warfare. we need to free ourselves from psychic colonization and mental slavery and not give in to the powers at me. power is imaginary.

I'm going to be optimistic for a moment and consider the upsides of America not being Big Monkey anymore. Just being a regular country sounds nice.

NOAA Deputy Under Secretary for Operations Nancy Hann emailed NWS employees that they’re working to “identify the mission impacts of these departures and… will communicate any changes we need to make.”

This is so insane. They fire everyone and then go back and figure out how it affects operations.

Yea, literally everyone around here either works for or has friends and family that work for the Fed. People are stressed out. You can see it on their faces walking around the grocery store. I see it in their faces picking out kids up from school. A lot of people look defeated.

No, that's why everyone is posting about literally anyone that isn't them going through with it.

I don’t see any of that in Fairfax county. I think  anyone on the verge of doing some crazy shit like that is already crazy or has an extreme activist mindset.

With that said DC does have a lot more “progressive liberals” than “moderates” so the possibility is there I guess but they are generally all talk. Not much fight in them so to speak.

Anything that you see on tv with people protesting and saying crazy shit is mostly isolated small gatherings or just the internet.  A lot of those people likely don’t have ties to the government. They just don’t want to miss an opportunity to virtue signal or show solidarity or whatever you want to call it.

Two dozen NATO government officials = the rest of the world

Most of the world doesn’t give a shit about Ukraine. But because it’s one of like 5 inflection points between D and R we have to pretend that it’s the most important issue on the planet.

This war has been, at best, a stalemate for over a year now. Biden and the Dems were already winding down aid and signaling to both Ukraine and NATO that the time for ceasefire talks is now. But because orange man is doing the exact same thing with more belligerent rhetoric, democracy has fallen.

Give me a break.
