I don’t see any of that in Fairfax county. I think  anyone on the verge of doing some crazy shit like that is already crazy or has an extreme activist mindset.

With that said DC does have a lot more “progressive liberals” than “moderates” so the possibility is there I guess but they are generally all talk. Not much fight in them so to speak.

Anything that you see on tv with people protesting and saying crazy shit is mostly isolated small gatherings or just the internet.  A lot of those people likely don’t have ties to the government. They just don’t want to miss an opportunity to virtue signal or show solidarity or whatever you want to call it.

Most of the world doesn’t give a shit about Ukraine. But because it’s one of like 5 inflection points between D and R we have to pretend that it’s the most important issue on the planet.

This war has been, at best, a stalemate for over a year now. Biden and the Dems were already winding down aid and signaling to both Ukraine and NATO that the time for ceasefire talks is now. But because orange man is doing the exact same thing with more belligerent rhetoric, democracy has fallen.

Give me a break.
